Has anybody ever wondered why Jerry never became the coach?

If Jerry Jones wanted to coach, why wouldn't he just do it?
It's his team, couldn't he coach it if he wanted too?

He'd be the laughing stock if he ever did it.............Oh wait..........

The talent on the team alone would win him 7 - 10 games, he wouldn't be a laughing stock.

I don't think he has any desire whatsoever to review tape and make gameplans, run practices, etc.

It's not his style.

I think it'd be very interesting to see him hand the reign of ownership to his son and coach.

What does Jerry have up his sleeve? hahaha.
Just my random thoughts before bed.

It is one of the silliest myths about this team.

But it will be here till the day he steps down or dies. It's just one of those things that will forever be part of this team I suppose.

His "over-involvement" is not a myth.

Nor is his "he has the last word" on all decisions.

Ever since he got drunk on a february night in 1994 wich led to Jimmy getting canned Jerry has been toying with the idea. He even said so to the reporters at the time. It might be a myth but he certainly looks like the HC to the naked eye.

Because he doesn't want to. And knows and admitted he would not and could not do it.

It's the [once again] media / fan base that comes up with this. I always laugh to myself. But don't say anything [well sometimes I do] when I hear people say that JJ calls down to change plays, who to play and all that.

I think one time he went down to the field, to question the status of a player after what seemd to be a very bad injury. Can't remmber who, was it Allen? turned out the player was ok to go back in. So they said JJ told them to put him back in.
