Has anyone else noticed...

Doesn't matter whose fault it is. Someone has to get canned to send a message. You can't fire all the players, because then there is nobody else, so most of the time it is the coach who goes. But I don't know if these players get that their coach's job is on the line. Would they care if they did?

That the coach says it's not the players, but the coach that is to blame .. and that the players say it's not the coach, but the players that are to blame ??

While I appreciate this sort of reverse finger pointing, the end result is the same as normal finger pointing ..

.

Conversely, I tend to believe that this business of everybody pointing at everybody indicates the classic diagnosis of too many people sitting around with there thumbs up there you know what.

:D

Nobody is blaming everybody. They are blaming themselves.

How would they not "duck responsibility"

If no one ever gets fired or demoted, then that's "ducking responsibility." Actions are supposed to have consequences, no? We don't need shared blame; we need to name names and take action. Otherwise, nothing changes.

OK, so name so names--like I asked in another thread. Flozell? Columbo? Hamlin? 2 big contract guys that have sucked and one who thinks he deserves a big contract....

How is the end result the same? And if that's true, wouldn't that mean that it never matters who you blame?

Isn't it better to accept responsibility than to try to blame someone else and say, "It's not my fault"?
They have been saying this the last four weeks. I am a bottom-line type of person and the results are that things are getting worse, not better.

When a team's players start pointing the finger at each other or the coaches, it usually precedes a further downfall. However, in this case, the inward finger pointing is producing the same result .. which is what I said.

Now, is it better to point the finger at yourself? Absolutely! However, at some point, perhaps it would be better for all of the players and coaches to say it is everyone's fault.

Then again, this is just my opinion ...

OK, so you weren't saying that pointing the finger at someone else or pointing it at yourself always produce the same results.

When Wade said its on me. It doesnt nothing for me. I dont think he believes it... he is just saying it to coach-like.

When the players says its not Wade or coaches it them then what the heck?
Do something about it??

Ok everyone is taking blame and we continue to go out and lose to inferior teams.

Which makes you believe neither side must care much.

Want proof? Watch the games.

We aren't losing because of schemes or X's and O's.
