He's not capable and I was never gonna kid myself into thinking otherwise.
I said lets give him a chance, but I see now that I was wrong. He's got to go!Sarge;2551149 said:Not me, I've been at the final stage since we signed Wade - day 1.

Maybe, the majority of the board. I processed my grief for the 'boys quickly. I'm already at stage 5.masomenos85;2551140 said:I'd say, as a board, we are at stage 2 right now.

Bingo. I'd go back and get my post from when it was announced but it's pretty far back there, but I've been waiting for Wade to be gone since the day he was named Dallas' head coach.Sarge;2551149 said:Not me, I've been at the final stage since we signed Wade - day 1.

I went and found it. Wasn;t that hard since I don't have many posts:Air Force One;2551163 said:Bingo. I'd go back and get my post from when it was announced but it's pretty far back there, but I've been waiting for Wade to be gone since the day he was named Dallas' head coach.
And I interpret "capable" as being able to win a Super Bowl. I have never, and do not, believe Wade can win one.

I guess if he's good enough for the gosh darn SD Chargers, the Cowboys should be drooling for him.
Welcome to the world of mediocrity Dallas fans.
I can't believe so much has changed over the years where this is even remotely acceptable to folks. Oh, and we can promote Garrett in a few years......I'm just pumped about now......and the future!!!

Man I'm just going on gut and the past. Wade Philips is what I consider to be a generic, off the shelf coach. Comparing him to others etc.., I don't see the point. He stands and falls on his own, imo.masomenos85;2551172 said:Well, in that case, would you say that a coach can only be called "capable" if his team does win a Super Bowl? For instance, would you say that John Fox
has not proven himself capable, since he has never won? What makes someone capable?

Denial and Isolation.
At first, we tend to deny the loss has taken place, and may withdraw from our usual social contacts. This stage may last a few moments, or longer.
Anger.
The grieving person may then be furious at the person who inflicted the hurt (even if she's dead), or at the world, for letting it happen. He may be angry with himself for letting the event take place, even if, realistically, nothing could have stopped it.
Bargaining.
Now the grieving person may make bargains with God, asking, "If I do this, will you take away the loss?"
Depression.
The person feels numb, although anger and sadness may remain underneath.
Acceptance.
This is when the anger, sadness and mourning have tapered off. The person simply accepts the reality of the loss.
