In games like this I often see Parsons loafing around and picking his nose. Cee Dee has definitely taken the best player on the team award the last 4 games.
ceedee has been on a legendary tear … the past four games. are we just discarding the past three years?

Dak could have easily thrown for over 500 yards had he not taken the 4th quarter off.

Dak ended up throwing for 404 yards and 4 TDs. Easily could have thrown for 100+ yards more had he played the 4th quarter. The single game highest passing performance by a Dallas Cowboys QB was by Tony Romo (506) back in 2013. Dak has the second highest single game franchise total with 502 back in 2020, but today Dak could have easily shattered that 506 passing yards in a single game Cowboys franchise record had he played all 4 quarters. Let's not kid ourselves about who is the real MVP.
And it’s not close but Lamb, Bland, and Parsons will get All-Pro consideration.

Different circumstances. Lamb was a first round pick and signed a 4 year deal. Steele had a 3 year deal and then signed a one year deal so he would have been an unrestricted FA. Lamb we have a 5th year option if we don’t extend him. Totally different circumstances and one has nothing to do with the other
Dumb. Every year the price goes up. You sign them at the end of 3 years to use the 4th year to roll some of the cap in the extension

In the last few games, but I don't know if it would be on the season as a whole. He did a very Amari like move today when he ran back to catch that ball.

I’m going to change it and say LAMB is the most valuable player on the Cowboys. The defense could still be functional without Parsons with a mix of Sam Williams and Bell. The offense has zero options to replicate what Lamb does. The defense would still be respected even without Micah. The offense would be in shambles without Lamb.

I would not sign Parsons....too much money for a one trick pony. Trade him for players or picks.
I tend to agree. I feel like this team could get some good picks for Parsons, setting this team up well. I like Parsons, but he's not the meat & potatoes of this defense. I believe you could find a veteran pass rusher and lure him to the Cowboys as a hired gun for a few years who could be almost as disruptive as Parsons.

What the Cowboys need to do is continue to strengthen the middle with DTs and LBs. And they need o-linemen. Draft picks would come in handy to fill 1 or 2 of these needs.

Steele was the easier player to sign, and he was playing well prior to the injury.
But he was signed after he blew his acl which makes it dumb. And they did it because he was cheap because of the injury. They think having salary cap deals wins superbowls.

Think about how much $$ not signing ceedee in the offseason cost them

That’s the reason they did it. He signed a reasonable deal after he was injured. Players have come back very good after ACL’s but it could take a year. CeeDee wasn’t going to sign prior to this season unless he was given a mega deal. He’s only been our lead receiver for one year entering this season, so the Cowboys weren’t going to break the bank until they see more. He’s lucky he waited because he’s increased his value.

They did the same thing with Dak and it bit em. Obviously ceedee was going to be the better player between the 2. 1 player balled out after an acl and that player is adrian peterson and steele aint him

Re-signing Dak didn’t bite them. Don’t know why some of you refuse to accept that he’s a good QB.

because micah is better than ceedee. its no slight, both awesome and micah’s better, no contest. you can’t say numbers don’t lie when micah has some historic numbers for his career and ceedee has an impressive stretch
As of right now They are both All Pro's Micah 1st team, Cee Dee second. Micah's top 5 Defensive, Cee Dee is top 5 Offensive

Micah was never the best player on the team. It's just that Zack Martin plays a position that doesn't publicly illustrate how dominant he is on a weekly basis.
he's amazing at his position, but he's not as good as even a solid left tackle. just like the best punter in the league is not a better player than a solid number 2 wr. guard is not a sexy position for a reason.

parsons is definitely a better football player than martin and plays a more important position.

none of these players are as good as dak. he's a qb and a top 10 one at that. no other position is close to as important or demanding.

Also, Lamb is a WR. The WR market has been flying up year after year. He has absolutely zero incentive to sign early. The difference between one offseason to the next could be 6-8 AAV.

The team tried to get him early obviously, it takes two to tango though. Ceedee’s camp is cool with waiting a year and getting 35M instead of 28M.
