Has Crayton Proven to Be Our #2?

In a one-game sample, he's on pace for 96 catches and 1,300 yards. He's off pace on the 34 TDs, though. Still, it's pretty good for a #3 who just needs to learn to shut up.

LOL, yeah I just love those one game samples.

Either way, he's a great #3 in my book, and real cheap at his production level if you ask me.

Crayton is a great #2, especially since we wasted a 1st round pick on him..........hey wait a minute we got him with a 7th round pick.......LOL

I want to go on record as saying that I'm not predicting 96/1,300 for Patrick Crayton, because someone will inevitably misinterpret that last post. And that anyone who changed an opinion about him after yesterday's game anyway hadn't been paying any attention to this player the last two years.

It's simple.

With Witten and T.O. in the same offense as Crayton he will always be successful because he's the third option even though he's the 2nd WR.

There has never been a doubt about his talent, the reason he gets flac is because of his mouth.

Based on one game? No.

But he really showed some good hands Sunday. And it takes an unselfish WR to be willing to block and do it well.

I think Crayton will excel this year.

The reason he gets flak is b/c they think his talent doesn't match his mouth. If he produced like TO, they'd be fine with him talking like TO.

I know what you meant, it was funny because I know a guy who love to do those one or two game samples and say a player is great or stinks by multiplying those stats by 16 or 8 respectively.

I certainly agree on your point about people not paying any attention. Just a month ago a ton of people in this forum were screaming that Crayton was a failure and we needed to move on. It just cracks me up that those same people have jumped on his bandwagon. Give it a week or two... first screw up and they'll be calling for his head again.
