I know, the internet making tough guys out of people.

Wouldn't say that.

Calling an *** an *** hole isn't exactly grounds for internet tough guy.

While we are talking about Zone improvements, can we also have a "Lameness Poll" automatically attach to all Fan Zone threads that ranks the topic from "Excellent Topic" down to "Why oh why do we need another thread on this"? Just for the offseason.

A live chat would be interesting only because I'd like to see if any of the people who constantly dog him, as a person, would bother to show up and actually say some of it to him, or at least as close to him as you can from an internet thing.

My guess is probably 1-2, maybe 3 tops, would actually do that. The rest would continue to dog from somewhere else cause it's more 'cool'.

That said I'd like to see some of the people here, like Hos or DC, that would ask him some of the tougher questions and see how he'd respond.
If the chat interview was announced in advance for posters to participate, I extremely doubt that the numbers would be that low. Additionally, if the chat room format remains the same, with the only restriction being that posters are removed after making comments deemed objectionable by moderators, what would be the difference between conversing via chat with Terrell Owens as with any other individual?

Perhaps I'm wrong and you may be right. I do know that if the interview was scheduled and announced well in advance enough for posters to be aware of it happening, I would be inside that chat room for certain.

What? Why would anyone be afraid to tell him how they feel?

Cause from what I've seen in my time on the internet you find a lot of people who love to talk smack or be tough guys when there is little to no chance that they're going to have to give actual thought, or reasoning behind their comments.

I'm sure I'm being niave to believe there would only be 1-2 because, after all, it would still be in a chat room and thus the 'tough guys' would still be safe via being able to say crap over an internet screen.

I guess if there was a chance to do an actual one on one with him, face to face, is where you'd really find that the vast majority of the people that say things on forums aren't quite as brave face to face.

Right. Like your schedule is so jam packed that you need prior notice. :D

No. You're not being naive at all. You nailed it.
