I'm curious if Lamb has addressed it or not.

We've seen Dak, Jerry, and McCarthy throw him under the bus and say it was on him, but I've not personally seen anything from Lamb owning it. I don't get the vibe from him that he wouldn't own it if he believed he was wrong, maybe I'm wrong, but he seems like a pretty stand up dude.

What's the deal here? Why isn't he coming out and saying "My bad on that one" or anything? Have I missed it? Maybe he thinks it's better to just keep quiet instead of talking and being made out to be the bad?

I heard Lamb's agent advised him against any public mention of routes, targets or being NFL open.
Also told not to criticize Jerry's QB or he might not get an overpaid Jerry second contract.
And finally told by doing this would be his best chance at future financial security.

In other words, just keep your mouth shut in order to get paid.
Kinda similar to Jerry's secret lovechild in that regard, lol.

Damn his agent, I was hoping we could scoop up another 5th round pick next year.

Guys in the broadcast booth saw it as well and commented on it. No one is covering up for anyone. They also commented about how Lamb came back running the same rout and flattened it out to make a big catch in the game. All in all Lamb played a good game he made 1 mistake in the game early on but came back strong.

The team realizes Dak’s PR is not at an all time high right now. They’re protecting their investment. I think both players should be blamed for the INT. Lamb needs to run tighter routes and Dak needs to be a lot sharper.

The only ones that know what was supposed to happen are Lamb, Dak, Moore, McCarthy, and the other offensive guys.

The only ones we've heard from are Dak and McCarthy and we know who they'll blame.

I'll chose to wait until Lamb addresses it before I put all the blame on his shoulders like the coach, QB, owner, and some fans are doing.

Yea I mean all 3 guys I’ve heard blamed it on the route were HOFs that played the position.

I’ll split the difference and put 1 on Dak and 1 on Lamb.

Regardless - they aren’t the reason we lost.

Does it matter? Ceedee and Dak suck. MM sucks. Schultz sucks. Any and everyone in this situation sucks. It’s the Cowboys way. They destroy everything in their path for themselves and implode every season. The fact that we are so hellbent on finding who’s to blame is ridiculous when the entire team is just an atrocity. If it’s not one thing, it’s the other. Miscommunication, horrible pass, wrong route, wrong read, poor blocking, poor pocket awareness, the list goes on.

Maybe there is an opportunity for a big play in all this. Have Lamb run the same route and cut behind the safety. Dak fake pumps as if to throw the ball underneath but then let's it fly over the defender's head to Lamb who is streaking for a TD. I often wondered why the Cowboys do not take advantage of other teams being aggressive.

Its the same thing with those quick passes to the outside that always go for no yards. Fake pump to bring up the defender then the WRs takes off and Dak throws it behind the defender who came up thinking it was the usually Cowboys awful naked screen to the WR. They could do the same thing with Pollard in the flat. The Cowboys used to run Dorsett out on those sideline routes and no LB could keep up with him. Pollards seems fast enough to evade most LBs and even some safeties. Just spitballing here.

I'm no NFL Qb (b/c coach didn't put me in), but don't you recognize when a guy is running the wrong route and maybe throw somewhere else?
Things are happening fast; and few QBs have the ability to recognize something that quickly in able to pick another target.
And sadly Dak tends to lock onto a WR.
I wish someone had taught him how to do pump fakes and to look off DBs.
Once again poor coaching

Lmaooo c’mon man how would a qb know if the WR will cross the Safeties face before he throws? By the time the QB let’s go of the ball the “mistake” part of the route hasn’t happened yet.

We aren’t talking about WR ran a go and QB expected slant. It’s what happens at the top of the route long after the QB let’s go of the ball.

anyone who knows anything about the game knew damn well that it was a poor rout. Dak has to release the ball at the top of the rout and trust that Lamb will be there. Lamb ran the same play 2 times in the game the 1st one he went over the top of the CB who is sitting in a zone and it lead to the int. 2nd time same play he flatted the rout out vs zone coverage and made the catch. I'm sorry you are cluless about the game. Anyone with eyes and an understanding of the game knew better. Grego Olson commented on the play both times. You can choose to do whatever you want, makes no difference. I will say all in all Dak was up and down for much of the day, with some high throws but on the ints get a clue

Yeah it's a big conspiracy. After drowning several babies, Dak cackled gleefully as he and McCarthy burned Ceedee with cigarettes and said "you know I threw a terrible pick but I'm going to throw you under the bus to the media because even though everyone who knows football says you should have come back to the ball it's totally my fault but you better not say anything! I love intentionally throwing picks so the Cowboys will lose now that I have a $40 million contract. MUH HAHHAHAH! Oh, and Tad, come here so I can use your Twitter to defend myself!"

Definitely wasn't Ceedee's fault like all of the people who know football say, or Schultz's fault for not clearing the safety on the first one like everyone on the sideline said, clearly the members of this forum know more than the former NFL players and coaches, head coach, and QB and totally aren't grasping for straws to fit a very overblown narrative.

I'm not looking to cast blame. I know what I saw and so did McCarthy and so did the FOX broadcasting with Greg Olson. I think all in all Lamb played a very good game with 11 catches for 150 and 2 TD and as I mentioned ran the same play later in the game and adjusted the rout based on the coverage. If GB is playing man that rout adjustment is different than when the are sitting in a zone
