Has Lamb Came Out And Said He Ran The Wrong Route?

anyone who knows anything about the game knew damn well that it was a poor rout. Dak has to release the ball at the top of the rout and trust that Lamb will be there. Lamb ran the same play 2 times in the game the 1st one he went over the top of the CB who is sitting in a zone and it lead to the int. 2nd time same play he flatted the rout out vs zone coverage and made the catch. I'm sorry you are cluless about the game. Anyone with eyes and an understanding of the game knew better. Grego Olson commented on the play both times. You can choose to do whatever you want, makes no difference. I will say all in all Dak was up and down for much of the day, with some high throws but on the ints get a clue
What's wrong with me wanting to hear from Lamb before I blame him fully?

Your mind is made up before any INT is thrown. It'll never be Dak's fault for you.

Your emotional responds to me simply wanting to hear Lambs side of things shows that. It's like you want him silenced so you can stick to your "its all Lambs fault" agenda without any resistance.

The only ones that know what was supposed to happen are Lamb, Dak, Moore, McCarthy, and the other offensive guys.

The only ones we've heard from are Dak and McCarthy and we know who they'll blame.

I'll chose to wait until Lamb addresses it before I put all the blame on his shoulders like the coach, QB, owner, and some fans are doing.

OR maybe you could just learn about football?? That seems like the best option for you honestly. It’s like 7th grade pop warner level stuff that a WR has to cross in front of the safety. But let’s be real…you’re going to put 100% of the blame on Dak regardless.

Chances are he is not going to say anything, why would he want to? You guys beat a dead horse these guys learn and move on. As for my mind made up? lol I have seen poor passes and poor ints that are directly on Dak and have said so before. In this game he had some very good throws and some bad throws. That pass outside to Pollard with a defender right there was a poor choice by Dak lucky it was high or else that is pick 6. On the 2 ints yeah those were on Lamb and Schultz all one has to do with watch the play and the rout as well as coverage.

I'm curious if Lamb has addressed it or not.

We've seen Dak, Jerry, and McCarthy throw him under the bus and say it was on him, but I've not personally seen anything from Lamb owning it. I don't get the vibe from him that he wouldn't own it if he believed he was wrong, maybe I'm wrong, but he seems like a pretty stand up dude.

What's the deal here? Why isn't he coming out and saying "My bad on that one" or anything? Have I missed it? Maybe he thinks it's better to just keep quiet instead of talking and being made out to be the bad?
Does every player that screwed up need to address it with the media? If so, some of these players will miss a day or two from practice if they have to answer for every single screw-up.

In that coverage he is supposed to cut straight across in front of the safety. If you can't see that you are either stupid, ignorant, or a troll. I don't think you are stupid or ignorant. I think that you are a troll. It was nice to see your Eagles lose last night. If you are an Eagle fan why do you have cowboy in your user name?

The more I think about it the more I think how awful of a call it was giving the situation…

Just got a turnover and Moo
I'm not looking to cast blame. I know what I saw and so did McCarthy and so did the FOX broadcasting with Greg Olson. I think all in all Lamb played a very good game with 11 catches for 150 and 2 TD and as I mentioned ran the same play later in the game and adjusted the rout based on the coverage. If GB is playing man that rout adjustment is different than when the are sitting in a zone

100%

Another element is why is Kellen calling option routes in the redzone after we got a turnover? Getting just 3 is fine there if needed.

Kellen Moore has no feel as a playcaller...he is not very emotionally intelligent.
It's like he just pick plays he likes in any situation what's so ever.
He's like a guy who gets a girls number, she likes him at first and all he has to do is let things flow to get another date. Instead he starts being weird and touching her thigh whereas had he had let things flow naturally that more than likely comes. Same thing for more success on the ground or trick plays.

What's wrong with you is that everybody can see what happened on that play and you come over here to troll people with nonsense.

The play is there for the taking, he is not calling plays with the mindset of what if the TE or WR does not run the rout correctly. If that ends up being a TD no one is saying anything. Sure Dallas could have ran the ball or throw a fade back of the endzone and settled for 3. Fact is there are a lot of plays that could have been called but again you don't run plays with the mind set of what if he runs it bad.

Lamb probably hasn't said anything because it doesnt matter. The play resulting in an INT, now it's on Dak, Lamb, and the coaches to get it fixed which most likely happened 30 seconds after coming off the field. Everyone else has moved on except for fans.

Anyone who has access to the all 22 or even the broadcast replay where Olson is breaking down the play can go watch it themselves. It's actually an interesting play. GB is in a high/low safety alignment and split out like cover 2 at the snap. Dak has the whole field view and can see all three DBs drop back into deep zones, but at his break I can see why Lamb would have read that as cover 2.

At this point I dont really care whos fault it is, but would love for someone with more receiving knowledge to break down that play, specifically what Lamb should have been reading on that play.

The one thing that was obviously wrong on the first pick, was Lamb and Schultz owning the same turf on their routes…..one of those guys was off.

This group of posters in a nutshell.... lose a game when leading by 14 in the 4th for the first time EVER.... "Can we refocus on my feelings about Dak and wether we can call him out". Jesus... "I dont want to talk about how the hell we let this offense score 30 and run us over in the 4th,
I want to vent my Dak feelings about a first half INT"...it was both thier faults and they both came back and handed the D a 14 point lead...you should just change your name to "Lets talk about my feelings for Dak"

I agree to an extent but man turnovers in the red zone are daggers.

As well as we were running it why not pound the rock and do a few safer throws.

Horrrible play design but throw the ball into the stands, and again Dak and the WR core came back and went to work...the defense dropped this game in an unbelieveable fashion for who they are suppose to be.

speaking of horrible play design, on the 4th and 4 in OT, I’m still wondering why we have all 3 receivers on the right side go Way beyond the 1st down marker and not run a comeback route.

Yet teams do it all the time and Dallas has as well with success. I agree turnover there hurt but there is a certain amount of risk in almost everything you call.

If Lamb comes out and says he messed up I will happily give him 50% of the blame.

Dak, McCarthy, and Jerry felt the need to address it to the media to throw Lamb under the bus.

They should keep quiet also, but they didn't, so now we need Lambs side of it.
