Has Lamb Came Out And Said He Ran The Wrong Route?

It doesn’t matter if it’s fine around here.

But If your accusations are correct and there’s a major coverup within our front office and coaching staff cumulatively conspiring in defense for Prescott then it’s one of the greatest scandals in NFL history .

Or we just have a handful of members posing as fans trolling our boards.
We certainly have a handful of members posing as fans.

That's one thing you're right about.

Does it matter? Ceedee and Dak suck. MM sucks. Schultz sucks. Any and everyone in this situation sucks. It’s the Cowboys way. They destroy everything in their path for themselves and implode every season. The fact that we are so hellbent on finding who’s to blame is ridiculous when the entire team is just an atrocity. If it’s not one thing, it’s the other. Miscommunication, horrible pass, wrong route, wrong read, poor blocking, poor pocket awareness, the list goes on.
Just wait until Cousins to Jefferson (WR) tears our secondary apart this week!! :muttley:

LOL, this is rich.

Your agenda is crystal clear. You DESPERATELY wish to blame Dak, that's why you're "reserving judgment."

Greg Olsen, our QB, our coach, our owner... hell, even Michael Irvin... have all come out and said it was clearly Lamb's fault.

But until LAMB HIMSELF says it, you'll hang onto your dream of blaming Dak?

And then you have the nerve to call out those who believe the other FIVE sources who pointed the finger at Lamb?

Including a HOF WR and a longtime veteran TE who have zero dog in this fight?

What if Lamb just didn't feel like talking about it and nobody bothered to ask? Then you'll get to keep blaming Dak no matter what anyone else says, right???
:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Even if Lamb came out and said it himself, there would just be some fans coming up with a Conspiracy theory that Jerry Jones made Lamb say that in order to protect Dak or they would just insist that Lamb was trying to be a good teammate why still debating on why Dak is mostly to blame for the INT.

It don’t matter whose fault it is . I tend to go with the HOF but a bigger issue is with a 14 pt lead once again the defense folds like a cheap suit

over 200 yards rushing again . The OC decide to air it out when averaging 6 yards per carry

we just got folks that want it to be solely on Dak .lol

Exactly something JJ would do. :muttley:Don't give him any ideas!

I'm curious if Lamb has addressed it or not.

We've seen Dak, Jerry, and McCarthy throw him under the bus and say it was on him, but I've not personally seen anything from Lamb owning it. I don't get the vibe from him that he wouldn't own it if he believed he was wrong, maybe I'm wrong, but he seems like a pretty stand up dude.

What's the deal here? Why isn't he coming out and saying "My bad on that one" or anything? Have I missed it? Maybe he thinks it's better to just keep quiet instead of talking and being made out to be the bad?
Lol, Olsen said he ran the wrong route at the time (explained it in a manner even the really slow should understand), Irvin said almost immediately after the game that it was as the wrong route. Anyone with basic understanding of what the WR was supposed to do in zone vs man coverage understands that he ran the route incorrectly!

And because some believe that Jerry would be the type to do something like order Lamb to protect Dak, Lamb coming out and saying it's his fault wouldn't change Dak critic's minds, anymore than multiple former NFL WRs coming out and saying that it was Lamb's fault has changed the minds of Dak critics.

And here's Mike on the 1st INT...

Irvin with great perspective there for the football stupid. This is the NFL, that’s a routine route and throw from any pro level QB & WR. Safety high, that route is always open in the middle under neath.

They would come out and change the narrative again. That’s how things work today. It’s been accepted in all facets of life and media. Change the narrative to what fits your agenda, F real evidence and logic. Thank god this country appears to be pushing back against the loud mouth idiots, deniers, and haters.

Not when it’s a timing route requiring a throw with anticipation.
That isn't Dak's strength, so why are we asking him to do things he can't do consistently? You have Aikman? Fine, timing routes will destroy other teams. You have a Dak? Keep it more like a pickup game.

Yeah the narrative would just be that McCarthy and Jerry Jones got together and pressured Lamb into taking the blame or that he was going to lose playing time to another WR or something like that. And they would be saying how they couldn't wait until Lamb went to another team. due to their belief of the organization sacrificing a bunch of WRs for Dak's sake.

There are Cowboys fans who already had their minds set in this Dak debate and there's nothing much else that can happen or be said to change either side's minds. As the same ones who have claimed that Dak waits until the WR gets a certain spot to throw the ball, are now saying that Dak should have known ahead of time that the WR was going to run the wrong route and therefore should have quickly adjusted and thrown the ball elsewhere.

Are we blowing this out of context? Dak’s exact
words on both was “miscommunication” and half the posters on here are saying he threw Lamb under the bus.

So predictable on here. Haters blame everything on Dak and the opposite side sees the QB can do no wrong. It’d be nice if this place lived in reality somewhere in the middle.

Yes, both Lamb and Schultz did interviews on local Dallas area sports talk radio and admitted they were at fault.
- Lamb admitted fault for the 1 in the Bears game also.

McCarthy has acknowledged that Lamb was at fault on the 1 in the middle of the field.
- On the one in the endzone he said something was wrong with the routes but didn't give more details.

Mike Irvin and Greg Olson both said CeeDee and Schultz at fault.

I'm no NFL Qb (b/c coach didn't put me in), but don't you recognize when a guy is running the wrong route and maybe throw somewhere else?
For real. Lamb was clearly out of position for that type throw - a timing route to the middle, if that was the intention. If it was tipped on a skinny post, it goes off target. It looked too high for a cross route to the middle.
Brown was open on the left flank, and Pollard was open short right. It was good pass protection on a four man rush.

Yea right. The Dak Homers are trolling the board.

Let’s rehash your take here beginning with these words of yours when speaking of Prescott.
He's the leech that sucks the drive and energy out of the team.”

And it’s your opinion that our front office , coaching staff and Lamb are conspiring to defend Prescott , the leech.

Even if Lamb runs that route correctly the throw would have been intercepted. Look at the play in slo-mo. The safety is just standing there. He didn't have to move, he literally played catch with Dak. It was another poor read and throw by Dak. He is blaming Ceedee for his crappy play. If Dak truly thought Ceedee was going to cross instead of going up field he would have thrown it to the right hash mark. Dak is a bum and this team will never advance in the playoffs with him. Best hope is make the playoffs and Dak get hurt on last play of last regular season so someone else has to play in the playoffs.
Lol, what a ridiculous take.
