Has Lamb played himself out of a second contract?

He's not getting Amari Cooper money. I think it's too early to say he's played himself out of a new contract though, especially since the Cowboys will just use his 5th year option when the time comes anyway (2024).

Agreed. He's a useful player. Just not an elite one.

He had 74 receptions with 5 TDs in his rookie year, 79 receptions with 6 TDs in his second year. I'm sure his struggles will be blamed on Rush.

I can see him getting a contract averaging around 12-13 mil a year, but if he wants more he can go somewhere else.
Really? Why would you think that? I've seen no evidence that Rush is getting any blame.

Crawled out from under a rock eh? Waiting for a bad game. LOL

Not much he can do with Rush throwing for 100 yards against a great Rams D. Lets wait till we get our franchise back.

Hes has 11 consecutive games without 100 yards receiving with Dak. His ypg haven’t changed between Dak and Rush over the last 15 games.

In his last 13 games, he only has 2 TD passes; both from Rush.

When Dak comes back, there won’t be much change for Lamb.

Where were you the prior two games when Lamb had 87 yards and 97 with a TD in each? Hiding under a rock? Waiting for your cherry pick opportunity?

I was Right here the whole time. The fact you didn’t see that begs the question… where were you after proclaiming him one of the few NFL superstars this summer?

Those were good games, but they weren’t superstar performances, as you claimed. By your words, every game of the last 10 months was a “cherry pick” game.

You said we’d all see the real Lamb once Gallup came back; he’s been the same. And now he need Dak to produce, despite playing the same with Dak while other superstars don’t necessitate such things. At this point, his reputation is built more on excuses than play on the field.

Superstar games? NO need to lie about it.

IF you cant see the talent in Lamb, its not my problem. Just because your a Cooper apologist doesnt mean you cant appreciate what we have in Lamb.

I’m not a Cooper apologist. No need to lie about it.

Justin Blackmon was one of the most talented receivers who ever lived. That doesn’t mean snot.

Like I said, if you cant see how good he is or will be, thats on you. I am going to enjoy watching him prove some of you wrong. But no doubt, any bad game he has, you will crawl back out from under your rock.

And when he doesn’t, you’ll never admit you were wrong. This offseason you said he already proved he was a superstar, and he’d blow the doors off the season with 100+ catches and 1400+ yards. Now he needs Gallup to do it, he needs Dak to do it. No he doesn’t, he wasn’t great with both, and he’s the same without them. He’ll have 1-2 big games later this season, like Amari would, then he’ll settle around 1200 yards and 6 TDs and you’ll be back here proclaiming next year is the REAL year. Superstars don’t need excuses.

And I’m never under a rock, ask anyone here and that’s the most mistaken take you have.

He'll get paid. The top elite WR's set the market near 30mil AAV this past offseason.
Lamb isn't on that level but looking at the DJ Moore deal(~21mil), Kirk deal (18mil per), Mike Williams(20 aav) he's probably closer to that payday range + a small bump due to "inflation" of the salary cap rising.

He's projected to hit 95 catches, 1100 yards and 7TDs.

His 3 year catch totals would be at 248 and over 3k yards. He will get a big deal.

If Dallas wants to keep him, extend him this offseason so you can max out the signing bonus cap hits.

There you go again. Change your wording so you can't flip flop. Things PROBABLY won't change for Lamb because it obviously CAN........right Eagle?

Bro no cap you have been biased against him since day 1 tho. And im sure its because he isnt the prototypical build you want in a WR1

Hes on pace for 95/1200/7 with a backup QB which would be a better season than Coop ever had

And Shady is an idiot mostly. Praising Gallup and Noah, 2 receivers that Ceedee is way better than?
