Has Shotty been given an unfair chance by us fans?

Everyone would love for shotty to succeed and overcome the Joneses somehow.

The fact his resume is somewhat substandard and the hiring process and search was lazy leads people to jump to conclusions.

That said no player no coach no matter how great they are overcomes the dysfunction of the Joneses it has been proven positive in a 30-year trial.

Jerry is a billionaire if he wanted to win a Super bowl he would throw enough money and resources in it to do it it's really that simple.
But Jerry wants to do it his way on a budget he does not want to shoot the works push all the chips to the table and really go all in if he did he would have won at least three more Super bowls by now.

He has the resources to buy the best coaching staff there is no cap on that he has the resources to buy the absolute best of everything but chooses to try and do it the cheap way while everyone else is shooting the works just not going to happen no matter who the coach is.

When you stop and think of it it's not us fans that are giving him the chance Jerry hired him he's giving him the chance .

And it's Jerry who's going to prove whether it's a fair chance or an unfair chance by how he participates in the draft and free agency if he chooses to draft poorly and sits on his hands during free agency he will be the one that's giving Brian an unfair chance we will just be the ones that sit and watch it play out

The guy hasn't coached one practice or one game yet, and we're believing the worst. In all honesty our anger and negative comments shouldn't be directed at him, but it should be directed at the process in which he was hired. The lazy nature of the job search, and not looking harder at outside candidates isn't on Shotty, it's to blame on the owners of this team. Who knows what could happen, Shotty could surprise us all, Jerry and Stephen doesn't draw an ounce of surprise in us as fans. The Jones family has dried up all hope!! With that said, let's support Shotty, and see what he can do with this team. What's the worst that could happen, a Superbowl appearance or not?? You tell me! Please give your thoughts!
It has less to do with Shotty and more to do with how the coaching search was conducted and how they arrived at giving him the job. Schotty is not a new face in the NFL with a fresh take on offense. To say he's been around the block for awhile is an understatement. He's been the OC of 6 different NFL teams and nobody is calling him for head coaching jobs.

The fact is that he wasn't given this opportunity b/c he has done something to earn it or was the best man for the job. He's getting this shot bc the Jones cult was unprepared for a coaching search and hellbent on their own comfort and continuity.

I agree so I have no issue with him at all, not the guy I wanted to be honest, but hell he may be a surprise guy that gets us far in the playoffs who knows. The PROCESS of him being hired was the worst ever, they could have just fired Mike during the season and named him the coach
