yep.... here's a small list of great players

Brees.... vet QB in a NEW system
Bush.... rookie RB
Colston.... rookie WR
Shanle.... former Second teamer for dallas
Fujita.... Vet LB in a different system
Cundiff...... former kicker CUT by dallas
Stoutmier... how many teams has he played for

The list could go on and on but I'm sick typing it!!!!

I wouldn't call all of them ALL great but they sure stuck it to the Cowboys last night!

Well McAllister, Horn, Hnederson are pretty solid as well, IMO.

Exactamundo.

It was an impressive victory by the Saints to say the least and an awfully ugly loss for the Cowboys. That's a given.

But the bottom line is no one is going to award NO the Lombardi trophy for what happened yesterday nor are they going to take away the Cowboy's remaining opportunity to continue chasing after it.

reminds me of the game against the skins last year.... the following week we came back with a pretty good game against the Panthers on the road..... JJ was on fire that day.... Ware had a pretty good game too if I remember correctly......

It was also on a short week (Sat. game) That win last year was probably our gutsiest of the year. I think we pull out another thriller on Saturday

Dallas 24
Atlanta 17

all is well for a week.

Horn was out, but Henderson never played for us. You're thinking of Copper.

I hope you are right! I don't know if I can stand another game like last night!:bang2:

Yes this wasn't just a loss. This was a beat down at home.

It was Industrial Spanktion.

Just try using that in your next scrabble death match.:)

Listen guys, I'm not throwing the towel, I'm just looking at this objectively. the past impacts the future if the team is not mentally tough enough to overcome it. I'm not convinced this team has the mental toughness to get it done. If they did, they would have seen this opportunity and showed up to play yesterday! They need to go out and play like they mean it the next 3 games.

I don't think mental toughness is the issue here. The more I watch the defense the more overrated I feel they are and that seems to be the problem. I'm sorry, the Saints are good but not 42-17 on the road good. That should not happen. You have to pressure the QB and we did nothing close to that last night.

I think you are thinking of DeVeron Johnson who was on the HBO Hard Knocks Cowboy training camp deal in 2002 and eventually was cut and signed to the PS that year.

Devery Henderson for the Saints was their 2nd rounder a couple years ago ... and is a much better prospect and player.

Funny how that works. When we win we are SB bound and when we lose the season is over and yet we are told by some they are not over reacting? :laugh2:

lmao!! so frck'n true!!:lmao2:

ONe loss is only one loss unless its the last game or in the playoffs. Something the gomers need to think about before jumping off the 40th floor.

At this point I'd gladly help push some off the 40th floor. :lmao2:

I love coming on here after losses.

Losing sucks - but at least I get comparative evidence that shows I'm not the crazy one.

I woke up and forgot about it, the thing that still bothers me though ,is this was the 2nd whipping at home this year, and I am afraid they may not be able to recover. I just dont believe they are ready yet. Time will tell

Only one loss. You guys have a great team. You gotta bounce back and beat the Falcons and we'll take care of the NYG for you.

Hope to see you in the NFC Championship game. Who wants to play in Chicago in January? Me either.

January in Chicago is ugly every possible way. One of us needs to make sure that does not happen.

Another pointless, sheepish thread. Considering the severity of last night's debacle, there hasn't been nearly enough hysteria. Save your "all is well" crapola for a different Monday.

Save your "sheepish" dialogue for a place where it's not so ironic.
