Not only our attitude has changed......but so is the attitude of the haterz......just look at Stephen a. Sh...t. -------anything short of a SB win will be a failure of the season and will prove that the Cowboys aren't back, Romo is an accident waiting to happen and validates in his warped mind that he was right all along. That is idiotic. What team other than the previous SB winner/loser is that true for?

They keep changing the bar when it comes to the Cowboys. SB or bust. The Boys gotta keep em hating.

They've played themselves into contention with a physically limited QB while gutting and rebuilding their defense, that's a real testament to the coaches and the players who maximized their talents and minimized their deficiencies. At this point I think this is a very solid season all around.

That being said, here we are, "Why not us?". The opportunity is now and tomorrow is promised to no one, there's no guarantee they will even be in the playoffs next year. They need to play to their fullest potential in the most important game of the year,,,

The real question that should be asked is....

Will we see a dozen panic and jumping ship threads if we lose? Is Jerry still a clown? Does JG and his circus need to leave? I saw a ton of panic in the game thread.

Big picture, this season was a resounding success. Nothing about Sunday can change that.

However, I'm the greedy type. We're oh so close to playing for the right to advance to the Super Bowl. The freakin' Super Bowl. When I was a kid watching in the 90s, you took these games for granted. It felt like a birthright to see Dallas-San Francisco in the NFC title game. But this past decade especially, it's almost become unthinkable to wrap my mind around the idea of what it would be like to play in a title game again. Man, I want that opportunity for this team so badly.

Ditto. It is almost unbelievable the position that they are in right now. A loss would be a downer, but easier to get over it.

A loss to a pretender like Detroit, yes.

But this is the final four and you have to admit it is no accident. They earned it.

I was about to post something similar. If you told me before the season we would be sitting at 12-4 with a playoff win and a real chance to beat Green Bay in Green Bay to go to the NFC title game I would have been thrilled.

More than anything I'm excited about where this team is going. It hasn't been done with smoke and mirrors. It's been a massive improvement in the trenches on the O-line, and a solid philosophy on D. Another solid off season to solidify the D and we've got something serious here.

I will be massively bummed if we do lose on Sunday, but I will immediately be looking forward to next season more than I have in a looooong time.

I will be dissapointed of course, but that all might change on how we lose the game. If we look like the better team on the field but turn the ball over I will be really disapponted. I thought we would be about 6-10 at best so It has been a great season that has far exceeded my expectations.

After we got the third seed I just wanted to go further than the Steelers andwe did that. I do really want to see Tony Romo and Jason Witten win a Super Bowl though. They both deserve it but our defense will have a tough time in Green Bay without and elite pass rush.

This whole season has been a bonus for me. I did not expect a lot going in, and I did not get too upset when we lost this year (something I have been working on the past few years).

Sunday though - man that would have been very tough had we lost. I felt back to my old self watching the game and fretting over the Cowboys like it really effects my happiness. I don't like being that way. I hope I just have 3 more games to feel that way!!!

That was too much stress. I think I want it too much for Romo - he has been abused throughout his career - he really deserves this - I think that is the main part of my stress level.
