Has your opinion on the team changed dramatically since the San Fran loss?

Go look at the two losses San Francisco has suffered, Cleveland and Minnesota got physical with them especially in the trenches. They both put a lot of pressure on Purdy making him uncomfortable in the pocket. Against the Cowboys, he was able to sit back in the pocket and take his shots. He looked cool, calm and collected against us. Every time we play the 49ers we can’t match their physicality. They know they can manhandle us.
Why do you think that is

No because we knew we weren’t winning anything coming into the season.

Yea I think we’re at the point where nothing would make us feel confident heading into any post season matchup.

What would make me happy tho is to see a few practice squad no name types step up and have magical seasons. Someone I can root for. I feel like it’s been awhile since we had a story like that.

Could use a corner or linebacker to become awesome
Aubrey? I mean, I know he's just a kicker, but ...

To me no. And the reason is because the season to me is about the journey not the destination. I just cherish all these relevant football Sunday’s.

So yes we are 4-2 and right in the mix. Yes San Fran the bad guys lost twice and look humbled. But still that Sunday night game was so bad and such a non competition you honestly feel a bit hoodwinked. Like the team just sells you a bunch of fluff every offseason but in reality they just aren’t an upper echelon organization.

Every year 2 teams make it to the NFCCG. Out of 16. That’s a 1 in 8 chance. Or a 12% chance to make it every year.

To not make it 30 years in a row is beyond bad luck it tells me they just are built different and that San Fran was an example of it. The cowboys aren’t Innovative they just match the baseline success of other good teams and draft well enough to be relevant and latch holes with veterans no one wants anymore !
No. I still think one player is holding the Cowboys back.
Same story, another season that will end badly.

San Francisco always gets the better of us in the trenches. Our DL can’t handle their OL. They’ve been physically and mentally tougher than us. We haven’t been able to rattle their QB but they’ve been able rattle ours. We haven’t been able to run the ball on them which puts all the pressure on our passing game. Cleveland put up 160 yards rushing on them. Although Minnesota only had 74 yards rushing against them, Kirk Cousins killed them in the passing game. San Francisco didn’t sack him once.

if we played as physical as SF or Eagles , we would break every penalty record.

Refs dont treat us fair .

I knew we had another flawed, dysfunctional team that was going nowhere fast after the card's debacle.

Really, as long as Jerry is GM and we have this entertainment type of atmosphere, no one should expect anything different ...

Not tougher, more talented. Who on our Dline would even make their team?
