Spagnola was saying that Fergs tear was completely off the tendon that connects it to the bone and his muscle curled up the arm. Essentially Ferg cannot curl his arm at all because of it.

They can reconstruct it but this is a severe tear.

Didn't Norton Jr. play through the same injury one of the SB years?

yeah he did,but I dont think his tear was as bad as Fergusons. The bruising is really bad when it's completely torn,and if you dont get it re-attatched in 24 hrs it will look deformed. He will be fine for next year
