I happened to be listening to that and while I do think it's laughable, in a way I understand what the guy and Norm were saying. It's not that the hat itself really means anything, but it does seem like Romo's overall demeanor this season is more of a mature leader and less of a happy-go-lucky frat boy.

Of course, I think that's a prime reason #81 was sent packing -- so Romo could take this step.

I didn't hear the show, but I agree with you about the probable reasoning behind their comments, CL. I also agree with you and the OP that it is laughable.

Tony not cutting his hair until the Cowboys lose again is laughable too, but superstitions are powerful things some times.

The logical side of me says that the way you wear your hat does not predict the outcome of a game and people who bash Romo on the direction his hat is pointing are mindless tools who should have mental exams before they are allowed to reproduce. with that being said I'm also the same guys who wears my "lucky" cowboys hat that i had for 8yrs and who switches from chair to chair depending on how the game is going (if they are doing good I stay put if they are sucking a switch ( i know beyond stupid but I've been doing theat since I was 8 and i never grew out of it)
