did it look like he was first string by the end of the game? It seemed that Spears was spending a lot of time on the bench.
 
I also noticed that Curtis got some decent playing time at TE as well.
 
Hatcher has a better upside than Spears in this 3-4 scheme so I wouldn't be surprised if he indeeds starts games...

Let's not talk about Curtis, he's responsible for the guy shooting the gap on that kickoff return before the end of the 1st half, what a lazy attempt at a block!

It was a poor play. He also made a good block on JJ's long run around the right side. It is also up to Tyson Thompson to protect the ball with both arms.
 
We played a lot of nickel/dime defense with Hatcher playing DE on the four man line in the 4th quarter. When we went to a 3-4 base defense Spears played every snap at LDE. If Hatcher was replacing anyone it was Spencer, who came back and played nickel DE on the last Giants drive.
