anyone watching philly-pittsburgh? man, darren howard opposite kearse is looking awfully tough. big ben getting hammered.
Looking good?? Gee, I dunno... the Iggles had 273 yards of total offense, on 53 plays... averaged 2.2 yards per carry...
Meanwhile, the Steelers had 313 yards of total offense, on 76 plays... just from looking at the stats sheet, it looks like Pittsburgh totally dominated the time of possession game (37 minutes to 23 minutes), they just committed too many turnovers (4, to none for the Iggles)...
Of course, forcing those turnovers is a credit to the Iggles' defense, so it ain't all bad... unless, of course, those turnovers were of the braindead variety by the Steelers (didn't get to see the game)... even then, they had just 2 sacks and 3 quarterback hurries in the game, which doesn't sound like a lot of pressure on the passer to me...
From what I can see, the Iggles won't pose much of a threat on the ground this year, they'll be pretty much the same as they have been the last coupla years, a pass-first offense... and I am a good less than impressed with their receiving corps...
