This is a myth that's been debunked. If it's a detriment now, explain when Prescott and Elliott were on their rookie contracts at the same time.
Where was "all of this cap money to build?"

Because we were still paying Dead Money to Romo and Dez. It's not a debunked theory at all, especially for us with our liking of kicking the can.

Then Prescott needs to play in a such a way that doesn’t prove ESPN and the board right! For weeks since the midpoint of the season, all I heard about on talk shows (and several threads here) was how his interceptions were going to cost the Cowboys in the playoffs.

Now here we are. ESPN, Cowboyszone “haters”— what they are is RIGHT. And it stays that way until he proves otherwise.

Dak played bad in 2 exit Playoff games in back2back seasons so he's going to get roasted. Dak signed up for it, and trust he doesn't care all that much because he has a fat stack of $ and plenty cliche saying to hold the masses at bay. That sleep number is cranked up and QB1 isn't missing one single wink of sleep due to his performance. Don't cry for him.

Worry about the fans who may have to watch a press conference with #4 signing another huge contract with the Cowboys.

Pollard wasn't able to run effectively, either prior to his injury, had under 3 yards a carry. Moore went away from the run and had less then 20 yards in the 2nd half. I truly believe Dak and MM are now tied together, surround him with talent, if we see the same results, then you make that decision to move on, but the time isn't now when you have Zeke done and Noah Brown as your 2nd best receiver.
People convinced themselves pollard was tearing it up prior to his injury. No....no he wasnt. Better than zeke....but not by much. Not really his fault.....our o line gets no push, let alone.... gasp the nerve to ask for....holes. He spent far more time than he should, bee-lining to the edge instead of chewing yards up the field.

We don't need to acquire stars or sign premium high-priced fa's, but rather just upgrade the talent. Noah Brown cannot be your #2 receiver.
Brown wasnt even #3 WR against the 9er's. It's this deliberate messaging of facts and picking suitable stats that makes fans annoyed at Dak and his fans that fail to see that he as the QB needs to take his share of the blame, a blame that takes a $49m, 21% of the CAP share.

If those fans accepted, rather than brush over, some of the legitimate criticisms of him rather than ..."Dak had a bad game (period).... BUT..."page upon page of mitigating circumstances deflecting focus on other factors, the fanbase would at least be placated.

As someone on one of these thread's mentioned....there's always something different to blame.

Sounds like another excuse. Either it's Daks fault for taking a salary or it's not. Now, you're bringing in factors that are even farther from Prescott's responsibility. Romo & Dez money, lol.

Even the league is convinced they put TP in the Pro Bowl, can you believe that?

Yeah, Zeke showed everyone how good he was when Pollard got injured.

So our offenses doesn't have much talent and is the most simple scheme in the league yet we had the number one scoring offense . Maybe, just maybe our QB is too inconsistent and folded in the big moment
A simple scheme does not mean better and in this case, it was all the holes in the scheme that defenses often jumped on. How many times in that game did our WRs run past the sticks during long or short-yardage situations? All SF had to do is stay at the first down marker and look in front of them as there was never any threat downfield to worry about. Then they could get a jump on routes and positions they knew were coming. Hence the issue. This happened many times throughout the game and that's just one aspect.

There's not a whole lot of fans pointing out how much worse the offense was when Pollard broke his leg.
I'd argue that the team would have benefitted earlier if they didn't stick with the turtle until refs were catching up to him.

People on this board need to stop whining about Dak Prescott, he isn't as bad as many believe and not going anywhere in the near future. He is our QB and we need to support him, not kill him over everything wrong with the franchise:

-I can go back into the summer posts, where nobody had high expectations for this offense. Many thought with the loss of Cooper, Gallup not going to be ready, this team was going to be lucky to win 8 games. They won 12 games again, with lesser talent, Tyron missing most of the season and Dak out 5 games.

-Dak missed 5 games due to breaking his thumb, when he returned, the offense averaged over 30 points a game, #1 in 3rd down conversion and one of the league leaders in red zone efficiency. Outside of the Washington game, the team just lost 2 OT games on the road, in which the defense blew 2nd half double digits leads. Did Dak play perfect games and protect the football, no, but his offense wasn't the only reason why they lost.

-Lamb finally played like a true #1 receiver down the stretch, but Noah Brown was our next best receiver, yes, Noah Brown the special teamer. If I would of told anybody that Noah Brown was going to be the #2 receiver at the start of the year, everyone would of said they have no chance. Gallup was a complete disaster this season post injury, Tolbert was a bust and Washington was even worse. They were forced to sign a retired 33 year old receiver that was sitting on his couch. Their receiving core was the 2nd worse within the playoff teams.

-Where was the team's strong running game? Don't even need to go into Zeke's production as we all know his time is up, but the run game totally disappeared when Steele went down with an injury. This was a major issue heading into this year's postseason, believe they averaged less then 3 yards against the 49ers in their loss. Both backs could do nothing on the ground. There is a reason why the OL coach, RB was just fired.

-Dak just faced the 49ers defense, which was the best in the entire league. No running game, he was asked to read a defense in which they had 7-8 in coverage with 1 legitimate receiver. On top of this, a scheme that Steve Young stated prior to the game was the most basic, easiest to defend. Now you same fans are changing the goal posts and says Moore is Dak's scapegoat for his poor play.

-People need to accept the fact, the 49ers were the better team, period.

-If you want to blame anybody, it should be more towards the front office. They put together a less talented group and expected better results. They are now forced to upgrade the talent and the staff had no choice but to change their scheme. No doubt Dak has to play better and protect the football, but he needs some support to be successful. Josh Allen scores 10 points at home and gets a pass, but Dak scores 12 on the road against the best defense and it's all his fault.
I'm done supporting Dakota "WENTZ 2.0" Prescot, he's nothing more than a less than mediocre, insanely over hyped and overpaid QB who's not leading any team he plays on to any SB. His stats are so over hyped and most of the football experts who have had his back all these years are done with his lousy play! There isn't a coach out there that can change the type of QB he is because he doesn't have the skills or knowledge to get to the next level.

So if the offense does well, Dak is a big part of it

If the offense does poorly it is the FO and coaching

:facepalm::omg:
No...every man, woman and child was praising Dak after the Bucc's, even Pappy doffed his cap, Dak had turned the corner, was able to play at the highest standard in a play-off game (albeit, everything was going well). Then a week later and he's still playing well for two quarters, using Pollard in the passing game then injury....next play interception and Here's Old Dak.
