Haters miserable?

If you disagree with anything the front office does you are a hater in the eyes of the homers. 30 years of ineptitude doesn’t change their mind. We can’t be critical of the cowboys. Its hate lol.
false. it’s those who have to frame any bit of positivity negatively, constantly hurling insults, and delighting in failure to say i told you so. being unhappy doesn’t make you a hater, actively hating does. it’s pretty simple. rambo is a homer, mountaineer is a hater. majority of us fall in between. those who don’t are fairly obvious, and the only objection i can typically see is if it applies to you

I'm still not happy with our GM/owner and not confident that our QB can win when it matters. But as a fan that roots for our players and team to do well, I am positive about the moves we have made this offseason and more hopeful than a few months ago. I think we have a shot to make the playoffs now and if we can add a DT and maybe a LB, potentially we could advance a round.

The 'experts' have been quite positive on the Pickens trade and the offseason overall, with many saying we have gained ground on the Commanders and could have a shot at the playoffs.

But ironically, it seems like some of the 'fans' are even more miserable that there is optimism. They still claim every move has been terrible. Or in a few cases, a couple of them are posting a lot less, I guess because the tone has shifted to more optimistic and it isn't fun for them? Reminds me of the week in here after a win -- when the 'haters' are no where to be found.

So, what are you? More optimistic and hopeful?
Neither Optimistic nor Hopeful based upon your opening sentences. With that being said the Cowboys are killing it this offseason.

We do not have a QB on this roster and the way Jerry has handled the situation is that which has me in this state of mind

This team has a bright future in 2 or 4 years depending upon who they acquire to be the QB of the team they are building currently

Pickens looks great on paper but Dak had people calling Lamb a bust when Amari Cooper was on the team. The 2nd WR tends to go AWOL on Dak lead trams. We will see if Pickens is good with that. (We see how Dak has frustrated Lamb in the past)

To be honest I would feel more optimistic if Cooper was still the backup

A hater is someone who is negative 100 percent of the time and troll. I don’t know why you guys do this. Everyone is upset with this franchise but you know what a actual hater is.

Exactly. I hate when they pretend to be dense. We know who those group of guys are.

I love threads like this.

It’s perfect for identifying people who need to be put on ignore.

It works both ways too!

Someone is an annoying homer who bogs down every thread with Dak love or Jerry apologies? The guys who tell you the sun is shining when it’s pouring rain? Ignore!

Someone is a hardcore hater whose spirit animal is Eeyore or Glum from Gulliver’s travels? The guy who might well root against the Cowboys in overtime because the next day at the Zone is always better after a loss? Ignore!

Give me a list of all the "haters" and give a list of all the evidence of their hate.
Why do yall do this? You’re telling me you have no idea what the Op is talking about? If I asked you who the Dak fans are you’d know them and have no issue listing them. There’s a place for everyone here…..haters, Eagles fans, lovers….everyone. But you can’t be serious to need people to spoon feed you who the haters are here.

Damn I must have those Jerry apologists on ignore I’ve never seen them i thought he was the one common enemy of this fanbase lol.

You’re the one calling out all the “haters”, but too gutless to identify. It is you who has the burden of proof to specifically call them out, which I very much doubt you will do, rather than paint them with a broad brush.

That’s how you get benched. So, the guy you’re talking to can’t get specific or he’ll get a warning.

Goes the same both ways.

The ones who dislike homers have all kinds of little secret codes referring to their Zonenemies but they don’t name them because it’s against the forum rules.

For me the thing that some have deluded themselves is that getting Booker.Blue and Pickens means this offense is going to "highly explosive" and one the top of the NFL is laughable. Yes they are better on offense, somewhat.

And the defense is at least as poor and maybe even worse depending on how rookies and Mazi play this season.

So no this team is not going to the playoffs, they have a major roadblock in the division, I'm not even sure the Giants won't get in front of them either.

But I'm going to only be real and not get swept up in emotive hopeful wanton thinking.

Telling people to call out other posters is a tactic people use to try to get people to bench themselves.

Haha post of the day here. Lots of us are getting Bill Parcells sucked. I agree with what you wrote. If Guyton and Mazi are actually decent this is a good team. I have zero faith in #Shotty. He isn’t nearly as annoying as Garrett but I just don’t think he is a good coach. I like the rest of the staff though. The Cowboys won’t suck this season that’s for sure.
