Haters miserable?

Sir this is cowboyszone

A lot and I mean ALOT (30%) of this board is Eagles or Giants fans pretending to be cowboys fans and hate every move

You can always tell because the post don’t make sense

Anybody saying this move sucks should be disregarded…..no I don’t like Jerry the GM, yes I think Dak should’ve been let go but it is what it is right now

We saw a hole we addressed said hole
True but I really think it needs to be more than 1 year. I hope they extend him.

If you disagree with anything the front office does you are a hater in the eyes of the homers. 30 years of ineptitude doesn’t change their mind. We can’t be critical of the cowboys. Its hate lol.
This

I used to be called a homer ....... now because i have had enough of this nonsense i am called a hater.

Hilarious

For me the thing that some have deluded themselves is that getting Booker.Blue and Pickens means this offense is going to "highly explosive" and one the top of the NFL is laughable. Yes they are better on offense, somewhat.

And the defense is at least as poor and maybe even worse depending on how rookies and Mazi play this season.

So no this team is not going to the playoffs, they have a major roadblock in the division, I'm not even sure the Giants won't get in front of them either.

But I'm going to only be real and not get swept up in emotive hopeful wanton thinking.
whats delusional about it? last year aside they've been one of the best offenses in the league for years now. and they added a guy who's specialty is one of the things they've sorely lacked. i don't think it's a stretch whatsoever to believe they'll be explosive and again one of the best. whether it ultimately leads anywhere is another story altogether

Well the thing is we don’t know. You are predicting we be bad. It’s not actually based on fact just your opinion. And they very well could suck. But fans should be optimistic. They won 7 games last year with Cooper Rush and the team being depleted by injuries. So if people think getting healthier and adding the pieces we did will give us 2 or 3 extra wins? That’s fair.

of homers sure. not whats being discussed here though. i have no clue of your opinions or thoughts, but we're not talking about being critical. i don't know why y'all become such victims. own it, or understand you're not who's being talked about

..the haters dont like the pickens deal, because its Dallas. They dont want Dallas anywhere near a SB.

The logical analysts, see it right. Getting Pickens kicked Dallas up another notch.

They will win 10-12 games this year. Make playoffs.

and not confident that our QB can win when it matters.
What does this even mean? I just hate it when I see something like this about any quarterback. I'm not a Dak fan. Last year at this time I no longer wanted him on our team. But here he is. Teams win SBs. Quarterbacks aren't going to make up for a massive talent gap.

Matt Stafford sucked until he got a ring. Did he get better? Or did the team around him get better? I think we all know the truth. Did Marino suck when it counted? Or was his team lacking? The Broncos with John Elway lost the first 3 SBs in blowouts, two of which were against inferior QBs, but against much better teams. So why do we keep blaming the QB?

Tony Romo, a QB I liked, would on many occasions spit the bit when he felt he had to do something because he thought things were getting out of hand. The team around the QB makes a big difference in their decision making and ultimately the results.

I'm still not happy with our GM/owner and not confident that our QB can win when it matters. But as a fan that roots for our players and team to do well, I am positive about the moves we have made this offseason and more hopeful than a few months ago. I think we have a shot to make the playoffs now and if we can add a DT and maybe a LB, potentially we could advance a round.

The 'experts' have been quite positive on the Pickens trade and the offseason overall, with many saying we have gained ground on the Commanders and could have a shot at the playoffs.

But ironically, it seems like some of the 'fans' are even more miserable that there is optimism. They still claim every move has been terrible. Or in a few cases, a couple of them are posting a lot less, I guess because the tone has shifted to more optimistic and it isn't fun for them? Reminds me of the week in here after a win -- when the 'haters' are no where to be found.

So, what are you? More optimistic and hopeful?
I'm downright giddy!

And to add onto the whole Matt Stafford experience.... he's like 14-73 vs winning teams. The year he won a ring with the Rams, he led the league in interceptions. So basically he went along for a ride.

With that said, some people just aren't intelligent enough to realize that NO quarterback in the history of the NFL has ever won a Superbowl by himself.... yet only Dallas Cowboys quarterbacks are expected to do so.

That is so hilarious to me.

Then they try to compare our quarterbacks based upon post season success or lack thereof.... according to their logic, Dilfer and Foles were better quarterbacks than Marino and Kelly, IF we're measuring them on post season success.

Oh wait.... thats when excuses and goal post moving kick in for other quarterbacks not named Romo and Prescott.

We have some of the most double sided, hypocritical, goal post moving fans in the entire world of sports.

Well, he was on Detroit. But yes, he was an interception machine. But he was still a halfway decent QB. I always put him slightly below Romo talent, but close.

I actually think these fans believe what they are saying. I heard it back during the Elway years. Elway can't win the big one. Elway never stood a chance against those teams.
