The haters are comprised of everyone not walking around giggling from all the sunshine being blown up their skirts.

Admittedly there are some who can not find encouragement from a couple of good moves by Jerry, they need more before the cynicism subsides.

There's a difference between hating and having zero faith in Jerry to do things right. There's 30 years of evidence. That being said, I'm more optimistic this season than I was last season. I still think they'll choke come playoff time...history has shown Jerry can't get it done with the culture he engenders. I do think they'll make a good showing in the regular season though.

I do hope I'm wrong and things are different this year, but I have no faith that it's true.

I think the GM and QB are both poor at their jobs and should be replaced.
I'll maintain that perspective until they both are.

I know George Pickens, so I'm a little bit biased. He has tremendous talent. But at every level of competition he has been a prim Madonna. And if he hasn't changed by now, I'm not certain he can change now. The Dallas Cowboys got a great receiver talent-wise. But the culture here is not one conductive for players like Pickens. And sooner or later, things are going to blow.
I hope I'm wrong, but as that great philosopher Emmitt Smith once said, "Can a leopard change its stripes?"

A hater is someone who is negative 100 percent of the time and troll. I don’t know why you guys do this. Everyone is upset with this franchise but you know what a actual hater is.

The fact is, if you hate the Cowboys and are on this forum, then there is something wrong with you. Find a hobby or something.

But here is where I am at. I am tired of the false promises, the ineptitude of the Jones gang, and not winning a Super Bowl, or even going deeper into the playoffs. The goal was never to win the division by beating the Giants and Commanders twice. The Goal is to beat the 49ers, Eagles, Lions and Packer or whoever else stands between the Cowboys and the Super Bowl.

Am I a hater? Sure, I hate losing and I hate looking like an inept team with a senile old gas bag for a GM.

After the loss to the Packers my new and improved attitude is, show me. Blind optimism is for losers.

What does this even mean? I just hate it when I see something like this about any quarterback. I'm not a Dak fan. Last year at this time I no longer wanted him on our team. But here he is. Teams win SBs. Quarterbacks aren't going to make up for a massive talent gap.

Matt Stafford sucked until he got a ring. Did he get better? Or did the team around him get better? I think we all know the truth. Did Marino suck when it counted? Or was his team lacking? The Broncos with John Elway lost the first 3 SBs in blowouts, two of which were against inferior QBs, but against much better teams. So why do we keep blaming the QB?

Tony Romo, a QB I liked, would on many occasions spit the bit when he felt he had to do something because he thought things were getting out of hand. The team around the QB makes a big difference in their decision making and ultimately the results.

Agreed, but you left out coaching, which plays a big part in getting past the div round.

Dak has played poorly in recent playoffs, but so did the rest of the team , and the coaching sucked too.

Also helps to have a good roster.

Nah. 30 years of nothing have left me in a perpetual “just watch and see what happens” mode. Never expect and you can’t be disappointed.

Also, confidence only matters to the person whose acting upon a belief. It’s impossible to be confident for someone else.
