I'm trying to recall which expert claimed this was the worst possible pick.

I would like to give the draft analysts (headed by Kiper) that said Hitchens and Fred were reaches a nickname.

I suggest Insane Clown Posse (ICP).

After losing Lee, Holloman, & Durant...Hitchens has been a blessing.

Kid has been tasked with learning AND playing all 3 LB positions as a rookie...and has done so quite well.

Think they may bring Durant back next season. Marinelli loves him...he can play all 3 spots...and he'd be solid & less expensive depth at worst.

I was one of em. And I'm happy how he's stepped in. This linebacker core for years to come will be solid.

just as mindless slams on a player should get no respect. I never said Hitchens was a great when Dallas selected him. In the 4th round of the draft everyone has things in their game that are of concern. Watching him play the guy showed he had game leading the Big 10 in tackles his Jr. season. Once Dallas made the selection I started looking for all the info on him I could and tapes of games he played at Iowa and what I saw was a guy who played with a high motor and made plays, enough for me to let him prove himself instead of slamming him as a player Fact is the critics here slam every damn player because it is not the guy they wanted as if they had a fricken clue. Bunch of big mouths that don't know jack but makes them feel big because they have an opinion.
