Happy with the win and while I'm not down on any player I do know this team must play better, especially on offense. Win or lose after the game you go back and look at mistakes throughout the game and look to improve on certain aspects. Looking at 3rd down conversion Cowboys 3 of 9, this has been an issue over the course of the season and Cowboys must find ways to improve on this. Hard to be a ball control team when you struggle to convert on 3rd downs.

Cowboys fans are no different than any other fans in the league. Put any fans of any teams in the position of Cowboys fans and they will react the same way.

I have been a Cowboys fans for a long time and I remember the years when Dallas was expected to go to the Super Bowl. We were a proud bunch, maybe too proud. But it has been a long time since then and our hopes have been dashed too many times. At this point, we are always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Who can blame us? But fans in other cities where their team have failed to get anywhere are the same way.

People are people wherever you go. There are optimists, pessimists and realists everywhere - and some trolls.

Here’s an example of a fan going strictly by stats. Anyone watching the game knows the Lions did not play like the worst defense in the league. They don’t realize that this is the NFL. The talent margin is small and what it comes down to is heart and desire. The Lions brought it on Sunday.

Did they not play like the worst defense or did they not look bad because they played us?

1. Dak looked about the same as he did in week 1 before his injury.

2. Rush isn't taking up 20% of the cap - Dak is a better QB, but the fact it's even debated tells you a lot about Dak. The league is vastly overpaying average or slightly above average QBs to a teams determinate

3. Tyler Smith is showing potential, but he is not "balling out". PFF has him at 63.7 on the year - this isn't awful, but it's certainly not "ballin out".

I'm glad you, the true fan, is here to set us "fans" straight though with your insight.

Dak broke his thumb. Couldn't throw a football for many weeks. Missed 5 weeks of the season. Was still wearing a brace on his thumb. Comes back and, while rusty, plays a very " Cooper Rush" esque game and gets a win against a team coming off a bye.
Most people on this forum and in the media said... learn from Cooper. Keep this game plan when Dak comes back. Etc. Etc.
They do and all the haters come out.

Tyler Smith is balling out. He is a rookie starting at LT in the NFL. NOT AN EASY TASK. PFF (for what they're worth) has him ranked as the 6th best tackle in the league. IN THE LEAGUE!! I saw a post debating if he could play the position!!!!!!

These are just two examples. But, have "fans" lost it?

Dak could be just enough to win big games with if he can leave his cape and ego in the phone booth.
Basic Dak would be unbelievable, he just doesn't understand how easy it is yet to win with this team surrounding him.
