have my drivers test tommorow.

....wish me luck everyone. im a good driver and all, but just a tad nervous. i dont want to come in to cocky and confident but i dont want to be to nervous. any tips? any stories? thanks.

To be honest, if you are feeling god about it, you should do fine.

I took my written and driving test the day I turned 16 and passed with no issues.

Just relax, and drive the way you know how. Rememer all the basics, use your signlas when turning. Use all of your mirrors. Drive the speed limit (not under, not over)

Know the hand signals, and know how to operate the vehicle you are testing in. Where are the turn indicators? Where are the hazard indicators? Etc.

Good luck, and let us know how you do.

And most importantly, remember that once you get that license, it's a privilege to keep it. Don't do anything in the car that you wouldn't do if you had your parents with you. Don't try to impress your friends with stupid driving. Try to impress them by going as long as possible without getting a ticket or getting your license suspsended by your parents.... /end rant.

And realize, they have driver's licenses.

good luck lock, when i got mine (3years ago) i drove for maybe 20 mins, did a drive way turn about (where you go in a drive way stop at the edge and then turn out) and a 3 point turn about, and did maybe 20 left and right hand turns...you'll pass, just dont' talk about the ps3 cuz your driving instructor might have you drive to your house and take it from you

Just remember, no middle fingers to other drivers while testing...for some reason they don't like that.

I doubt you will have this situation.

However when I took my drivers test people warned me not to fall for an old trick they did.

They had you drive a certain route for your drivers test and part of it was a street that came to the back side of the police station.

There was a stop sign right before you pull into the police station.

When you come up to that stop sign, and there was no traffic there, the officer would tell you, just go ahead and pull in, no need to stop.

Of course I knew better, and most would, and stopped anyways before pulling in.

However the officer told me I would be shocked at how many people just went past the stop sign when they said that.

So if a Police officer giving you your test tells you to do something, like the stop sign, that you know is wrong, ignore that and do the right thing, they are just trying to test you.

Why not give the testing officer something to talk about and brighten his mundane day?

Spread a few empty 40 oz'rs around in the floorboards of your car. Also, get one of those huge feather thingies attached to a leather lanyard with a alligator clip on the end from the 70's, those guys loooove that kind of humor!!
