It's 5 F with wind chill of -15 F. We've received about 6 inches of snow this morning and a other foot or more this evening
What's more astonishing is that I am making guacamole and ceviche. I am thinking about setting up a UV lamp over the cats sand box and pretending I'm at the beach.
Between the flu and the snow, I've taken around 7 sick days already. We're expected to get over a foot of snow in NJ later this week. That's another 2 sick days. I'm not driving in that crap.
Winter isn't over just yet. The polar vortex could make a springtime appearance in North America, forcing millions to reach for their heavy coats -- and potentially snow shovels -- yet again.
It is April 9th and I had to walk the dogs this morning in sub-freezing temperatures. It was 28 degrees this morning and 32 now. The average temperature in April in NJ is supposed to be 63 degrees. We are not predicted to have weather that warm here for another 10 days or so.
Pretty humid in southern Illinois today. But we’re expecting storms tonight.
Looks like we’re going to have another year where there’s winter, tornado season, and then summer. Some friends of mine had their house destroyed by one of the tornadoes on Friday.
The benefit of living in this area despite the weather is that there’s nothing to do.
