Have the Cowboys done enough to compete with our hated rival the Eagles.

Will we be able to put a stop to their running game.
Will Damone Clark or Donovan Wilson be able to contain Hurts as a spy.
Will Hankins and our defensive tackles be enough to compete with their offensive line.

Will the addition of Tyron be enough to neutralize Jordan Davis Fletcher Cox Linville Joseph and Suh.

We will find out on Christmas Eve of all times just wondering how everyone else feels on the subject as I feel we are in pretty fair shape but I would have much rather us pick up Suh then let the Eagles get him.

I may be wrong but when this guy wants to play he is a dominant human being and if he smells Super bowl and possibly a gold jacket down the road he may play beyond our expectations.
Thoughts??

What is so great about Suh? Suh was picked up as a stop gap fill in while Davis is out. Once Davis comes back they will have 3 all pro type DT's. Suh might not even see the field when Davis gets back.

Davis, Hargrave, Cox are their top 3 DT's. Suh is nothing compared to those 3. The moment Suh steps onto the field they get worse. Let them play Suh as much as they want.

We 100% should have picked up Suh or Joseph! Our front office has made a bunch of good decisions this year, but picking up Suh, was a no brainer and we did not do it! If our D line doesn’t hold up vs the run in the playoff, honest fans will look back and say, “it was so obvious why didn’t we go out and grab Suh or Joseph for peanuts”

Since Philly now has such a stout DL, with Suh and Joseph, we really must have Tyron come back at 100% and play lights out and our rookie play lights out at LG. With Philly’s DL power we must roll the dice and put in our most POWERFUL O line, which includes Tyron and the Rookie. I can also see playing Peters at G, T or as a 6th lineman!

Do we have the Beef?

Just a reminder, the last time these two teams met, Hurts threw for 132 yards and the Eagles only managed 268 yards total. The Cowboys have the players to compete with the Eagles. What they need to do is not throw 3 INTs and make a lot of stupid penalties.

Who's to say we did approach Suh and he rejected us knowing the Eagles had approached him, or we actually preferred Hankins.

Exactly.

Dallas has improved since the first game, and I'm not really concerned about the Xmas eve game. I'm circling the Playoffs matchup, why? Dallas has some rookies and other young players coming on down this home stretch, and to get look at the Eagles live then gain even more experience before it truly counts will be a plus.

If this team keeps playing the right way and growing they'll be stiff competition for who ever they play.

Yep, our front office fumbled the ball on Suh.

Hurts only had 27 yards on 9 rushing attempts in the 1st game.

The Cowboys struggled the most vs a running QB in the 1st NYG game.
- Daniel Jones was 9 for 79 with 7 1st downs rushing.

Big improvement in the 2nd NYG game.
- Daniel Jones was 3 for 14 with zero 1st downs.

Bears game:
Justin Fields was 8 for 60 with 5 1st downs.

Yep I'm hoping we can put a spy on Hurts and I think Clark has the speed to run him down

The Cowboys hadn’t done enough the first time they played Philly. However, we have Dak this time around. We’re going to have to play much better defensively stopping their running game or the second game isn’t going to be any different. They were able to impose their will in the fourth quarter with 11 straight running plays that led to a TD. The Cowboys won’t get any farther than last season if they can’t win the battle in the trenches.

And I'm worried that they have gone the extra mile to bolster their defensive line to stop our running game.

Three and out will get us beat

Philly has gone all in and it started during the offseason. With all this interest in OBJ by the Joneses I’m sure they’re wishing they would’ve kept Amari Cooper. Had they known the team would be this good they would have. Philly did everything to overtake us and so far it’s paying off.

Lol. No. Suh will see the field plenty. I wouldn’t be surprised if he sees more plays than Davis. Cox is not what he once was.
