Have we ever beat a team 3 times in one year?

We've beaten the Giants two times now by 10 points or more... that has to count for something. Like, maybe we're just flat out better than them?

If you're going for a 3 game sweep on a team, it's probably because you're just better. There's no reason we shouldn't win this game. If I remember correctly Seattle did it to St. Louis in 2005. It happens often when a team gets a chance to get a 3 game sweep.

The Cards I shudder to say we lost to 3 times in a year. Because it was embarrassing to say it then and it is worse to have to repeat it.

When was that?

In '98 we beat them twice then lost in the playoffs. I'm pretty sure we never lost to them 3 times in a year.

yes we have, it was on all the news stations last night here.

We are 2-3 in those games and the last time was the lost to the cardinals.

To which teams? We are 2-1 in the playoffs versus the Eagles (split the season series in both years we beat them, 1992 and 1995) and we are 0-2 in the playoffs versus the Commanders. We played the Cardinals once in the playoffs (we know that outcome).

And as has been said, this is our first time to play the Giants in the playoffs.

I can back this up. We have lost to them twice in one year a few times, but never three.

you have it right. It might have been 2-4. I didnt record it so I cant look it up, I just remember the last time we played a team 3 times in one season was the cardinals and like you said we know how that ended.

oh and woops, I just realized the question here was beat, not play. So that ruins what I was talking about.....

I think you guys shouldn't worry too much about this "have we ever beat a team 3 times in one year" question.

We've only had one chance to do so in the past, and I'd say we're better than we were in 1998.
