have you ever cried because of the cowboys?

Twice.

Oilers beat us 6-0 in 1994. We got close to scoring the game-winning TD late in the 4th quarter... a scrub Cowboys WR whose name I don't recall (history buffs, help me out!) caught a deep ball deep in Oilers territory and promptly fumbled it away, ending our last chance at the W. I was 9, and I bawled my eyes out.

Did I mention this was a PRESEASON game?:

The second and last time was during that same 1994 season, but this time it was the regular season overtime loss at Detroit on Monday Night Football. I didn't even get to stay up to watch overtime (past my bedtime) but I snuck out of bed late and heard the bad news.

It was extra painful because Barry Sanders just killed us that night, and I had talked a bunch of crap about him to my Cowboy-hating buddies who all claimed he was sooooo much better than Emmitt Smith.

I have cried after the most euphoric of victories and the most depressing of defeats. My pride in this franchise runs deep and has been unwaveringly so from the word jump. I make no apologies and couldn't care less of the opinion that genuine emotion is either weak or misplaced. For me and the NFL, it's always about the Dallas Cowboys and everything else be damned.

I recall three times.....not too proud to admit it. One of them because of Emmitt as well.

I puked when Jackie Smith dropped Roger's td pass in the SB.....does that count?

When i was a kid and Hershel Walker was traded he was my favorite player

I think i cried some tears of joy a few year later thanks to that one though

Not that I can recall....but I have gotten into fights, broken up with girlfriends, and quit a job because of them.

Priorities.

When Aikman threw the game-ending interception against Carolina in '96. I was in eighth grade.

I never cried, but if they lose to the deadskins today and they look like they might, I might have to cry.:cry2:

This offense is making me cry right now. Seriously, just about.

i know i know may seem stupid and im sure we have some people who will say it would be stupid to but im curious. I have never actually cried because the boys lost or anything like that but i remember my dad shedding a couple tears when emmitt finally retired.

edit: meant "the cowboys" in the title"

I'm about to cry. This offense is awful

Another vote for Super Bowl V. I was 9 years old. That was a really tough and frustrating loss (remember, Dallas had not yet won a super Bowl).
