"Who called a timeout?" Steelers OLB James Harrison recalled Romo saying. "You guys called a timeout?" Harrison was apparently miffed that Romo would question the Steelers' strategy in the situation. Or maybe he just likes to rub it in. "Yeah, we called a timeout," Harrison said after the game. "And you go and throw a pick to Deshea [Townsend], so we can win."

What was Romo even doing trash talking?

Sounds to me like he was just asking who called a timeout.

Indeed. Our defense wouldn't be short of soundbites had we won.

Our defense has never said anything unprofessional or of the sort after any of our wins, not that I'm aware of.

The whole team has ran their mouths. I cringe thinking of Newman and James bumping their games before we even played Detroit last year and what they were gonna do to Kitna and what happened? One of the league leading defenses in INTs, sacks and stopping the run VS. one of the QBs who had been sacked the most in the league, intercepted near the most, and and one of the worst running teams in football. Yet, we didnt pick him once, we got a garbage time sack and they ran the ball down our throat and would've put more than 27 of us if their kicker didnt act up and their receivers werent dropping balls in the endzone.

Romo brought all the trash talking on himself. He deserves it right now...

Didn't we win that game?

No, our team is not soft. Only our QB is. He is a choker and gave the game to the Steelers. Our defense busted their ***** off today on the road and never quit. Our offensive line busted butt today and never gave in. Choice and everyone busted their butts off today and never gave in. That is not a soft team, our team is anything but soft. We just need to get to look for a QB who can actually win a big game instead of the choker we have playing right now.

The arrogance is incredible.

1. Harrison ripping on Romo for the interception...

I know Romo's an easy target but you usually don't hear players responding like that.
Romo pisses me off with that crap. He's always trying to joke with the defense and laugh with em. I remember when we still had a slim chance at making a comeback against New England and he was giggling it up with Harrison after throwing the game ending INT.

We barely squeaked out a W in a game we should've lost against a team we should've dominated. That game was our downfall last season. Once we beat Green Bay, we went into cruise control and started thinking we were better than we really were.

They won. Let them talk.

When you win, you can talk all the junk you want.

Unless we meet them in the Super Bowl, it won't really matter that much. So chat away.

Tomlin is almost as much of a clown as Wade: loved his head set swinging antics and screaming at the end of the game. That being said, he's got the best team and home field advantage. But there's no way I see them beating anyone from the NFC in the SB.

At least he shows some emotions instead of just acting all frustrated and "golly gee" on the sidelines.

GMAB Wade shows emotion. I guess you have never seen him smile or do a fist pump. Did you not see him do it today on the goal line stand or the missed FG in the 1st. Come on man.

I'm talking about the emotion of anger ... the type of "Get in your face and tell you you had better not screw up" emotion that Tomlin exhibits.

Wade has not shown any of that to my knowledge.

For all their talk, the Steelers don't have it in the bag. Baltimore, Tennessee, and Cleveland, are their last three games. I ran the yahoo playoff ranking simulator, and they could easily be a 4 or 5 seed when the playoffs start. If they lose 2 of the last 3 and they could lose their division and be the away team for the playoffs. I can easily see them losing to Baltimore, beating TN, then losing to Cleveland, even though they are a mess.

If we lose 2 more and lose the division we are 11-5 and a wildcard team, I like that. Last time we were a wild card we got one for the thumb. We play better away than home like we did in 05. 2 of our 3 losses came at home.

I still believe in winning the division AND getting that bye, why? B/c it's important to get that week off to rest, heal, and the coaches get an extra week to prepare.

Yeah-I know that the last 3 Super Bowl winners played in the WC game to start to playoffs, but nonetheless, having to grind it out after just completing a long and grueling regular season can only make things a bit more difficult, not to mention too the risk of injuries are there as well.(i.e. I've seen alot of WC teams that advanced to the next round with key injuries)
