He mentions complaining a lot, you just have to be a good sport or something. I like to say it back to him whenever he makes a comment about a player, I beat him to the punch!! Try it next time it's relaxing

Don't forget Zeke, he basically took a nose dive after we gave him that atrocious contract. When no other teams were paying big contracts to RBs, old jerrah goes against the grain. Always a step behind the league in trends.

An amazing dichotomy occurred after you trade Micah:

You suddenly had a flush of cap space you were going to use on him, so you instead extended Tyler Smith super early. This may be the single best move Jerry had ever made as a GM. I seem to remember Tyron Smith’s deal was early too and it was almost immediately a steal with the way the cap went up. Tyler’s feels similar; absolutely franchise-altering decision making.

But at the same time you signed Daron Bland to maybe the worst contract Jerry has ever given out. 20 million a year, wow. At least Jaylon Smith showed promise when you extended him. Bland is basically a poor man’s Diggs. Like Diggs, he had a fluke interception season fueled by Quinn’s aggressive defense, and now with Quinn gone he not only gets no interceptions (1 single pick since 2023) but he often has guys running away from him.

Yet Jerry signed him to contract as if he’s been repeating that feat every year since. It didn’t make sense then, it doesn’t make sense now, and it still won’t make sense after next season when you cut him for not living up to his deal.

Yup, the Bland deal was so stupid, he had a lucky season and nothing exciting the following season, so they sign him to a deal? Jerry is an idiot.
