Start one, I'm sure you can make something up.

I would but only 5 people would post in it for being positive and than more for negative and it would get closed due to multiple negative threads. The board can only hack so much and I think we shut the server down last nite.

Great post, Pokes12. Yes, I have noticed all that you have. I've felt since the first half of the Tampa game that this offense looks like they haven't practiced together enough. The pointing is maddening. It looks like a no-huddle without the urgency or effectiveness. I'm not willing to give Romo a complete pass for his decreased accuracy, but some of it- particularly some of the picks- is a function of cross-ups by confused, marginally-talented receivers. Red has made some bonehead playcalls but also has put together a balanced attack and gets a stay of execution for now, since he's not had his full complement of RBs enough. Wade's leadership and influence is highly questionable to me but we have made strides in defense and special teams. I think we're 2-2 largely due to a lack of execution at QB (where we have talent) and WR (where we lack it). I feel like we should be 3-1 and could be 4-0 if Romo was playing like he did early last season.

Whinning?

Wanting to win is whinning?
Expecting players to have a positive emotion is whinning?
Wondering why players are not ready to play, its also whinning?
Maybe you have a losers image and don't know what it takes to win. This team is not only a dissapointment but it is a disgrace to the uniform and the legacy of this great franchise.

WADE has to go, plain and simple.

He should go back to Houston and coach High School ladies field hockey. He will not be able to get the girls to understand where to stand and how to win.

Totally agree. Red needs to seize the day. He needs a really great showing for the offense so that he does not lose the opportunity to be the next coach. I was never happy with the Philllips hiring and now I am completely convinced he is a force for diminishing returns. He seems like a very nice person, just not for us.

a friend of mine always points out how they look like they don't even want to be out there playing football except for a few guys. I think it comes down to incentives and there's no incentive to these players to know their assignments on offense.

It fallas a little bit on Garrett because he is in charge of the offense, BUT Wade is also responsible for not only the Defense but the entire team as well. If Garrett is not preparing them properly, it is incumbent upon Wade to ensure that this will not happen in the future. (This is not a defense of Garrett. He cannot be a head coach if he cannot get the offense prepared. I just see a disaster if that's the case)

Wade's the head coach. He's accountable for the entire team. Not just offense, not just defense, the entire team.

If he cannot do this he needs to go.

I'm not a proponent of firing coaches midseason, so Wade has 12 games plus any postseason to fix this. I'll be watching.

Oh. So you agree with my assertion that practices must suck major matzah balls?

Well, Wade promised he would change to an enforcer type with no more camp cupcakes, but changed his mind when camp started. Once again, hitting in pads was minimized to "avoid injury" which never works as we are a M.A.S.H. unit already. The results? Another team that is horrible at the fundamentals like tackling, lacks desire, and has no killer instinct.

Thanks for that "continuity" Jerry.

All good points. Hard to believe we will likely be 3-2 after Sundays game. Reads like you are describing a winless team.
Yes, we will be 3-2 if we beat KC. That is by no means a done deal.

But we should be 5-0. And that my friend, is the difference of which we are talking. If you are happy about a mediocre 3-2 perhaps you would be happy rooting for the Cincinatti Bengals or the Houston Texans or the other several teams who have never won a SB.

We have won 5 and it wasn't looking for 3-2 starts.

Let us not accept mediocrity!!! Expect the best and insist on it.

What? :bang2:

I believe this is what Bill Parcells meant when he said, "People in Dallas tend to overrate their teams".

thats bc the players who play, do not play bc they are the best... they play bc the coaches wanna please the gm!

we have a bunch of guys collecting paychecks now bc they see guys like Hurd, Miles, Spears, Barbie playing when they should be on the bench of a local UPS!

You don't think we should have one the NY game? How about the Denver game? We are one interception or fumble away from winning both. Aren't you watching the same games I am????

Don't settle for MEDIOCRITY. JImmy would not!!! Landry would not!!! But you and Wade, I guess you are happy at 3-2 or maybe 2-3 would make you even happier.

Have you noticed that:

* The Offense Shows NO Positive Energy in or coming out of the huddle
* When Tony is preparing to call the signals, he is consumed with pointing, yelling, moving people around and telling players where they should or should not stand
* The Offense does not look like they have practiced together
* Route running is p*ss poor. See Miles on the intercept
* You do not have to be a speedster to get separation. Good route running and good play calling will do the trick. We have neither.
* Tony looks like he is carrying the load all by himself
* He has been forced to take a "no lose" attitude. We don't have that good of a team. We need Tony to attack the defense
* The running game is spectacular but Red Ball goes away from it at just the wrong time
* Red Ball has not found a way to incorporate a dink and dunk offense with the big receivers that are outstanding (why throw to Hurd twice in a row and have Witten and Bennet out of the action)
* Wade is a colorless, inspires not confidence and does not get anything out of this team that they would not give in a "mail it in" performance
* This team needs a Positive Mental Attitude, they do not. It comes from the top and the top is teetering waiting for the inevitable ax to fall on a balding pate.

Go Cowboys!!! What I would give to see what Jimmy Johnson could do with this talent.
:bang2:

No leadership.

You must also hear "Kill, Kill" that is a clear signal to the defense that Tony is going to change the play. The defense changes their defense in response and and and T R has thrown interceptions. See the NY Gints game.

You cannot make this up!!! Might as well just announce the plays to the defense.

Post of the freakin' year right here. Everyone happy with 2-2 right now needs to pack up their Zone sleeping bags and move to Detroit or St. Louis. Anyone who thinks this team doesn't have the talent to be 4-0 right now and on a SuperBowl run doesn't know much about football.

Jerry is once again wasting our time with this spineless coach B.S. He did it when Jimmy left for 10+ years, finally got Parcells (grumpy and on his last legs) and then went back to it again. Jerry wants to win, but he only wants to win if he can get all the credit. Its his ultimate downfall.

I am supercool with Jerry the GM. It is Jerry the Owner who, with one decision, who should be head coach, is messing everything else up.

I wonder if Jerry has thought about using something different. For instance, this week instead of OMAHA Romo can shout out GEICO.The following game he can use FORD.I'm sure there can be extra revenue generated by doing this......:D :D :D
