HC Brian Schottenheimer wants some of the legendary players in Dallas' history to be in the building

Pickens is a proven great talent. And if he performs as many here suggest he will, how much is he going to cost to keep? He certainly seems like a player that believes he’s one of the best at his position. You cannot blame fans for doubting Jerry has thought this transaction out. Trey Lance. $60 million AAV for Dak. Parsons not signed. Elliott being brought back after getting rid of him.

There’s plenty of confidence in Pickens. Not much for Jerry’s roster building skills.
I’m not worried about next year yet, only this year and Pickens is on the team. I’m on record as saying Jerry’s not a good GM to put it nicely. Please don’t make stuff up.

Garrett tried this a few times, didn’t work out. Lets hope it sticks this time around!

I guess we will get some more finish the fight videos ........ did wonders last time.

Lol!!! Some funny stuff! He could have said he didn't want them around, and you guys would still be putting him down!!! LMAO

I wonder for contemporary players if you triaged individual performance/accoldates vs winning a title, where things would stack up. Not making a judgement, I think to most of these guys with all the money pouring in, its like their version of working for google, a law firm, a bank, a electrician, etc.

We've seen this before. I admire the thinking but it won't change the results on the field. We are dealing with the new generation of player. What we need is to organically instill our own modern brand of ideals with this current crop of player. Let THEM find out what it's like to overcome adversity and get a ring on their own journey. I love the idea of the legends being around the guys but it might make them feel even more entitled. Aka, getting too big for their britches. It could go either way.
