HC Brian Schottenheimer's culture has created a renewed energy' for Cowboys

Lol this means absolutely nothing. I dont dont like the Scotty pick. The minute Scotty is gone, the Cowboys will hire a head coach that removes the ping pong tables, and we'll hear from the players how it's now all about business in the locker room
Scotty is on Star Trek.

0-0-0 = no culture.
Nope, never is when always sitting on one's thumbs and wasting discussion potentials to even understand.

With 176 touches last season, Blue scored a touchdown around every 12 or 13 touches for Texas. So, that means that he doesn't need a lot of opportunities to be effective.

And then:
In one of the most covered Cowboys offseasons in recent memory, one major contract is flying far under the radar. KaVontae Turpin, Dallas’ special-teams ace and emerging offensive weapon, signed a three-year, $18M extension in March.

If you’re thinking that’s a lot for a special teamer, you would be right. That deal made him the highest-paid special-teams player in NFL history.

Coaching tools that can indicate expandible use of roster from the start. Let's start to pay attention to how opponents will be challenged and with Dak Prescott leading the show.

no, its just that time of the year. all the same things are said as the media pushes for football to save it.

"Renewed Energy" has never won a single game.
Let's see it on the field.

Renewed Energy is catch phrases to keep the Rockport's of the world waving their pom poms.
Exactly. Schotty was in the building for the last few years steeped in mediocrity as he has his entire career Yet somehow now some guys think he is a culture changer. Lmao.

He is pretty impressive when you listen to him speak. You can see why he got hired.

He got hired due to N.F.L 1930s coaching culture consisting of nepotism, good ol' boy system, and comfort hires. A system that rewards retreads and mediocrity instead of the best man for the job.

He got hired because he is very impressive.

“The selection of Tyler Booker in the first-round with the 12th overall pick can also be accredited to the culture Brian Schottenheimer is trying to establish with the Dallas Cowboys. Booker's attitude and the energy he brings with him to Dallas could be infectious. He's already made fans of both Micah Parsons and DeMarvion Overshown.”

My.
I can sense the ghosts of Knute and Landry in the room.
And now Schottenheimer.

The team had no fight, it was soft under McCarthy. You take on the personality of your head coach. Win or lose they will go down fighting. I can’t wait to see this season play out. We’re going to be a lot better than a lot of people think.

This team has always hyped themselves up…talking smack…and now, all this talk about a new culture; let’s see all of this translate onto the field for once. Beat the Eagles, 49ers and Detroit. Until that time…it’s just noise.

Jimmy cleared out the middle of the room, assigned lockers and set up dominoes tables and comfy chairs

I doubt that. I'm not allowed to say the major reason why he got hired. But I think we all know what it is. The same reason why someone else in the building such as Al Harris did not even get a phone call.

Brian is a mediocre journeyman coach. You all can dress that up however you want to. This is why the Cowboys will always suffer with dismal results at the end of the season. And I'm starting to believe many Cowboys fans deserve it.

Nate Newton likes this kid Booker.
Well done, drafters!

The team showed pride. That is a strong mindset for athletes. You really want cowards for you to brow beat other posters with insult instead? No, that is your making. This is a group of strong players that had 3 seasons of 12 wins prior to losing it's QB and 5 starters for most the season to injury. Go buy yourself a gold medal and make yourself happy. That is your thing.

The 49'ers picked just ahead of Dallas.
