Ive had similar finger surgery myself recovered fine with a little bit of physio my bet is TO is catching balls way before training camp with the medical staff available to him and with the best surgeons in the world doing the surgery he should have no long term affects and be back to his best this season.

Now if only we dont send him up the sideline and ask glenn to run a slant on 3rd down he might get the ball a bit more in situations hes used to (west coast O).

TO will be fine.. He's a awesome athlete with unbelievable confidence.. We need to get him the ball more then BP did... Thats for sure.. The Seahawk game still haunts me. I don't know what in the hell BP was thinking about in that game.. TO, TG, Witten, and Crayton and we don't throw the ball.. Sickening!!!!!

specualtion pal.get ready ole mr. smoot.

He's going to treat smoot like Deangelo......see ya!!! Big mouth...

TO is going to be utilized the way he should under Wade. BP was scared to build a team around the talent. Get ready for some fun!!!

Not too sure how much OWNAGE a 34 year old WR can OWN.

It has NOTHING to do with age this guy is one of the best conditioned atheletes in the NFL

I could have had a better game plan playing Madden on my couch. A mortgage broker playing CB and we did not throw at him... I am sick to my friend.

I sure do hope so.. Hate to see such talent wasted as BP did just to prove a point in my opinion.. I think he didn't go to TO as often just to keep him incheck, which is ridiculous.. He's a special talent, get him the ball early and often...

I agree with you 100%. I feel that is exactly why. Remember when Pearless came in? He had 2 or 3 balls thrown his way because he did not like the guy.

Just relax.. and think. He led the league in TDs, with a jacked hand. Imagine what he'll do with a healthy one. WOWZA...

The race to 6 continues... ends this coming season.

Just a question. Should T.O. be used more as a slot rec.? I seem to remember him being really effective in San Fran and Philly in the slot.

That was only a possibility that was talked about prior to the first surgery. They didn't know for sure.

Since the first surgery they found out that that would not be the case.

Thanks for the concern.

Terrell would kill out of the slot position. I see our new offensive minds using a little more crativity with regards to getting him into positions which cause mismatches.

whats the deal with his finger?

I heard mixed stories about that. Some people said he may never be able to bend his index finger again. Is this true, or was it just speculation?
That was Jerry hyperbole to make his underperforming investment look better.

Over 80 recep. 1200yrs, leads league in recieving TD's and 16 drops with a broken hand.... Wish all of our WR's would underperform like that!!!!

 only 4 WR's in the NFL got the ball thrown to them more than TO.

Well, tell Jerry... Even he said he expected a little more than what he was getting. ;)

well he completely dominated the league at 32 so i doubt 2 years makes a big deal.and kicked butt last year with one hand.

I agree with Jerry. Number wise that sounds great but I think Jones was hoping to see a bigger impact from TO. No doubt the hand injury created problems for Owens and hopefully his impact will be greater this coming season.

Thats fine but we still need to get him the ball as much as possible.. I could care less about what others teams did...

If any of our WR's get 80+ receptions, .. or 1200 yds, .. or 13 TD's next season I will be pleased.

i do wish we could throw in some west coast style plays for him.romo would be great in west coast o.

Or at least don't throw it out to the flats and pin our WR's to the sidelines by the DB.

It doesn't give them anywhere to go, .. dumb play.
