Hear that train a' comin'

I'm not sure what's debatable. Wagner's been an All Pro for years and had another outstanding season last year.

He would have been a huge upgrade.
We have already had this discussion over Wagner, this season will show a decline in cap value is my opinion, I know where you stand.
If we had signed Wagner I would be more concerned.

Dallas’ CB spot also includes Kelvin Joseph, who looks like he’s finally on the verge of breaking out

So your stance is you have a feeling he will decline this year?

I stand with current results and he was a 2nd team All Pro last year with numbers that dwarf any off ball LB on this roster. I don't know how you can't call that an upgrade.

I know where you stand, I have a crazy memory, can't remember where I sat my key 5 minutes ago, but I remember all discussions in this forum, yes, I need some type of help probably..lol

I would rather score slightly less points and eat up more clock. If you have a scoring drive of a minute and a half you have to give the ball back with a limited time for the defense to rest. Multiply that by 17 games and you get a defense that is too fatigued to elevate their game a few notches in time for the playoffs.

Yes, the Cowboys were impressive in their scoring but they also produced some of the undesirable numbers. They were tied for 8th place in number of turnovers. The Cowboys defense was on the field for the 7th most plays.

The Cowboys need to slow the game down with a successful running attack. This also creates less situations where they must throw under less than optimum circumstances. It gives the defense more rest. .A higher percentage of running plays should also produce less turnovers and less penalties.

In the end, the only numbers the Cowboys should focus on producing is wins.

Lmao! Hilarious!
I was doing preparations for Drill School when Desert Storm came down and I was at the Armor School when orders started to come down to us for assignments. 3rd ACR on East Wing of 92nd AB...afterwards and a grader, a Lieutenant going through a 3 day war had to ask permission to mount my tank for evaluation.

Two TD's a half isn't stretching a whole lot...one a quarter.

...The Cowboys and Quinn continue to downplay All-Pro Micah Parsons’ full-time move to defensive end, but there seems to be little doubt that he’ll be rushing the passer more than he has in his first two seasons
Parsons should be at DE on clear pass downs, but not on run downs.

He was already talking about getting run down last year. He's not DLaw and should not be used like DLaw. He's more like a 3-4 OLB of the past, but in our new pass happy NFL with only 2 LBs in the base, he ends up lined up at an ILB spot.

Although he's unlike previous era 3-4 OLBs in that he can really cover too.

If they think they should limit his snaps, then limit the LB snaps. He's already limited to 80%.

But he has great value at LB with the option to blitz and cover, with few if any in the league who can match him in that role. With another DE stepping up in the pass rush, Parons in that option role may be our strongest personnel package.

This is my first indicator here, it will be led by this defense, and the offense will probably average around 25-26 points, just a hair under the 30 they did last season.
