Henry making too much to play FS?

I don't know where this myth started, but Henry was not a FS with the Browns.

i got my info from the cleveland board on ESPN when i saw we signed him...i wanted the skinny on him and they told me he was a FS and then moved to CB his second year cause they were really thin at CB....

He was their nickel back/3rd corner. He was really no more a FS than Aaron Glenn is. He started a game or two in place of McCutcheon when he was hurt.

he had 10 picks playing nickel corner......he was amazing...i wish he could do that with us...and nickle is so much harder than playing outside....

If we do move Henry to FS will our pair of safteys be making the most money in the league? Who much do the steallers and Ravens pair of safteys make? What about the Eagles and Jaguars?

i don't think the money really matters. you have to pay him the same no matter where he plays. the question is would it be easier to find another cb, or another fs. seems like finding a fs would be much cheaper.
i don't see us starting a rookie cb who would be availible at our pick.so if you go out and sign a free agent cb then you really spend some money.
it's not so much what henry makes but what his replacement will make

Henry only has another year or so and Newman's contract will be up soon.

You also don't want to enter the draft with everyone knowing what you're going to do. Henry gives some flexibility.

Take the best CB/FS available. Sign a FA guard. 2nd round draft a pressure player for the D.
