Henson Era Over!

If you've read any other posts of mine, you would know that I'm in total agreement with the Henson release. But it isn't something we as Cowboys' fans should be having a party over. We signed him with high hopes, and he failed to deliver. We wasted a 3rd round pick and several million dollars in cap space. I am glad Parcells decided to cut bait now, but I don't think anyone in the organization is doing cartwheels today like some of you guys.

To understand that concept people have to have class first. I wasn't big on Q. But find me one post where I was happy he was released. I wished him well and moved on. It won't happen with Henson. Better to just accept that and move on. Some wouldn't know class if it jumped up and down in front of them.

I am anxious to see who we bring in to replace Henson.

Honestly with all the roster uncertainty with the kickers and some bubble guys at WR and secondary, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we went with 2 QBs this year and got a new project next offseason.

Are there really any vets out there anyway willing to sit in the #3 spot that are worth a darn?

Probably not, I don't keep up with it that close.

I'm not either, but I don't think Kerry Collins is coming in here to sit behind him, and I'm at least excited enough about Romo to say I don't want to put a has-been vet in front of him.

I really think we'll go with two, and if both go down Bill figures there's no one out there now who won't be during the season.

I could see Dallas going with 2 QB's and should Bledsoe suffer an injury that would cause him to miss significant time then I think you will see Dallas look for a vet to coming behind Romo.

I was rooting for Henson to pan out, but after watching him in NFLE, I realized he just didn't have it. I hope him success in whatever he ends up doing.
