same for your boy ROmo

he would still have a year remaining on his deal...

If Romo has a great camp he will be extended....

If Bledsoe has a great season he will be extended...

So it's a non issue.

The Answer is curious.....what if Henson has a terrible camp and Romo is still the #2 guy....will you still be sipping the Henson-ade, or will you be ready to concede the experiment is over?

if ROmo wins #2, then he's the best man for the job, and I'll never give up on Henson until he's released and/or the coaches say the process is over, and if Henson wins #2?

btw, nothing is set in stone, just because one of the 2 wins the backup job, doesn't mean they'll keep it the season after

So do you believe in the Hensonite doctrine that if Bledsoe gets hurt and Henson gets a chance to step into the starting lineup that another Tom Brady type of scenario will play itself out??

And if the reverse happens, and Henson has a terrific camp, elevating himself to the backup job, will you be ready to concede that you're full of bovine fecal matter for constantly trashing the guy??

First of all being a Henson 'detractor', The Answer has never claimed to 'hate' him. In fact deep down I hope he does turn out to be something because as a hardcore fan I want everybody on this team to succeed. But the reality is that not every player we draft or sign is going to be a superstar and I've come to grips with this. Henson's prima donna attitude and overbearing comments have put him in the critics crosshairs.

The Answer wasn't never concerned with how Henson performed in NFLE. Even if he would have shattered every passing record in that league it would have meant nothing. What The Answer was concerned is as to why Henson was even playing there to begin with. There were some people that claim Henson was a #1 overall pick type of talent and if that's the case he's busted worse than Tim Couch. 1st round talent don't play in the NFLE unless they have been monumental flops and shown nothing in their first 3 years.

If Henson was truly considered a #1 overall or 1st round type of talent than what does that say? Bledsoe, Aikman, Elway, Manning, Palmer etc have all led their teams to the playoffs in their early 20's. They didn't need 3 or 4 years to 'develop' to show what they can do on the gridiron. In fact both Bledsoe and Manning passed for well over 4000 yards in their 2nd year and made the playoffs. Henson is now 26 and is in danger of fading into NFL obscurity. Henson made a commitment to baseball coming out of college and that has haunted him ever since. If he was truly passionate about football he would have never went to the MLB.

JJ would have never signed Bledsoe (or Vinnie T) for that matter if he though Henson was THE ANSWER.

At some point you have to let go and move on....

First of all let me explain a real simple concept to you. You can completely avoid answering me and trying to be serious because I frankly don't give a flying crap about your opinions. I'm here to discuss football and have fun. You're incapable of the first and nothing about schticks is fun. In other words you're a complete waste of my time. Let silence be your answer to me. It's the only one I will appreciate.

(Might I suggest to anyone who already hasn't done it that the Ignore function is a great tool. Prime candidate for it right here.)

Second about moving on, I hope you will.

I have never ever used the Ignore button before, but here goes. I can stand strong differing opinions, but I can not stand someone purposely trying to get on peoples nerves with stupid posts and an even more stupid gimmick.

Bye bye The Question you are on ignore.

I would never hope that a player would get hurt but I do think another Brady scenario could happen if Bledsoe went down. I believe Bledsoe is currently the best QB on our roster but I have no confidence in him to get us another Lombardi trophy. He has a history of not winning the big games and his only ring came while watching Brady from the sideline. He got his team to the Superbowl only once in his carreer and could not win it. In Hensons first season BP talked about having the right team set up for a young QB to succeed, maybe we have that team now.
