Herd w/Colin Cowherd: "I would go get Deion Sanders"

Getting Shedeur Sanders at QB would be nice, but we already have Dak and his 'no trade' clause in place for the next 4 seasons. I would rather trade up and draft Colorado's WR, Travis Hunter, at #1 overall (use our 2025 1st round pick and 2026's 1st or 2nd & 4th to trade up to #1 overall) to pair up with CeeDee. That would seriously improve and make our WR group one of the best in the NFL.

Cowturd wants the Cowboys to draft a QB with the number one overall pick who’s barely rated in the top 10 QBs with most of the rankings I’ve seen. :rolleyes: Hire Deion as HC and draft his son with our top pick. :facepalm: He obviously enjoys watching this circus become more ridiculous.
 
Quiet as kept, I've been on the Deion Shadeur bandwagon last year...and was teasing my boy who is a Raider fan about this.

THAT SAID...too much hype will make Jerry do insane things. This would have been better if it was a remote possibility...not expected. Jed always has to zag when he should zig.

Deion Sanders and his son certainly aren’t going to save them. The franchise is enough of a joke as it is. This discussion is laughable. :laugh:
 
Deion is doable if he wants part of this circus...we are not getting his kid though, the NYG are on a bigger tank mission than we are and will snag him wherever they are in the draft

He was probably thinking about it until other people started saying it. He has to come up with something "no one else" would think of to stroke his ego. Malignant narcissist. We'll get somebody everyone has forgotten about.
 
I think Collin is using hyperbole to make a point. We need Dieon and a new QB. Nobody is giving up 3 first round picks for Sheduer. He's not a Manning.

I'm telling anyone that will listen. That kid McMillan from Arizona is going to be BETTER than Hunter. I'd draft him before Hunter if both were available.

Sometimes Cowherd says stuff that seems outlandish but it's actually fairly accurate

Other times he's just blowing complete idiocy, saying stuff to generate buzz.

as a wr that's not really far fetched (but arguable). it's the cb part that is the differentiator. as just a cb he's probably better than tmac as a wr. and is nearly as good a wr

Very laughable and without a new, real football GM, its gonna take a few years to be decent enough to lose in the first round of the playoff.
 
This is a sure sign that hiring Deion is the last thing the Cowboys should do. And if they do, he would be the first to criticize Deion should things go south in Dallas.
