So the solution is to not do anything?
The solution has been in plain sight for 20+ years (hire a GM) Jerry is incapable of building a team that can make a deep playoff run. And there’s nothing I’ve seen in Stephen to indicate he would do anything different.
The foundation of this franchise is severely flawed and goes against organizational excellence (i.e., hire the best GM, hc, scouts, etc and delegate authority). That will never happen as long as the Jones family owns the team.
With that said, I will be a Cowboy fan until I die, regardless of how much Jerry has ruined the franchise. And I’m confident Jerry will continue to dig his heels in even more and run every facet of football operations. The louder the criticism, the more defiant Jerry is. He’s a sick, twisted man.
