And yeah, the coverage has been over the top.

I have been to the meadowlands and the vet. Not the linc though.
I loved Texas Stadium. It was old and beat up and perfect for football.

In fact Werder reports some Cowboys preferred Texas Stadium better. Per the report, one player said he feels they are in the entertainment business instead of playing football.

The people in the pro shop knew what a media guide was.
I will say this though about werder, He has been on espn 1033 all week defending the cowboys and saying how he thinks Dallas is every bit as talented as NY and that he thought we will win. He also got into some heated debates about why he would take romo over manning.
I dont doubt that some of the players said this though, some people and players just have an old school thought process and like things a certain way. Like myself.
It wouldn't surprise me if a handful of players are still sore over Werder's comments about Terrell Owens and decided to jerk his chain by giving him anti-stadium opinions.Hostile;2951413 said:Ed Werder of ESPN reports on Sports Center that some Dallas Cowboys players aren't entralled with their new stadium. I suddenly lost all interest and never attended any game at TS.
I have no desire to attend a game at the new stadium. I would rather invest the money in gold or diamonds which retain their value well and I can't imagine that a used ticket stub would have much value. Let's face it, people are paying hundreds of dollars here to watch the game on a big TV set.
I really hope they enjoy it after enduring all that is attendant to going to a game these days but it's not for me.
