Any Giant fan who makes fun of Strahan, hates him, or is unhappy he is back is not a Giants fan. I am very happy he is back and have no problem with him not coming to camp or the preseason games. I really don't think he ever intended to retire. He is a 14 year veteran who deserves some wiggle room from his teammates which he obviously got by being named captain. And by the fans. I think if the players aren't letting what happened bother them, how can the fans?

No player ever earns the right to skip the entire training camp and preseason.

Not even the likes of Favre now and Marino back then.

I respected Strahan immensely until this pathetic action.

Youre not a player Tom. Nor am I. But this does not sit well with those who go through the rigors of TC. Even if it is the Magnificient Michael Strahan.

HeHateMe,

Obviously it didn't bother the players too much since he was named captain.

Out of respect, he was named.

As you respect him.

But if youre going to tell me it doesnt bother them, youre nuts.

I never bought Strahan's retirement stuff.

I don't hold it against him. It was actually a pretty savvy vet move on his part. Had he gone to camp, Coughlin would definitley make him practice and play. He's not the type to allow a player a "hamstring" injury. Strahan would be beat up and tired going into the season.

As far as Tom goes....

I think this will be a very close game. Your team greatly worries me. I like how we match up with you if both our teams are healthy. I know your team in injured, but I think ours hurt us worse.

Glenn and Newman are key cogs....especially Newman. And with us cutting Aaron Glenn, I really have little faith in our secondary. Williams and Hamlin will have to help our weak CBs. This will open up the run game for you guys.

I'm very sick about this game. I think you all will be more physical. I'll never forget our first matchup last year. It was embarrassing how you just man-handled our defense.

Our players sound confident....like they have a swagger. Maybe they know something I don't.

I hope they do.

And one other thing.

I don't want a "great" game.

I want us to blow you out.

My heart beats at 200 bpm for hours after a "great" game.

Every game in 2005 was "great".....I lost 10 years off my life that year.

Always fun to hear from an opposing team's fan. I too hope that no one suffers an injury. Although, I hope your pride is a bit scuffed and bruised come morning. :D

Assuming that we are only able to muster an average pressure on the QB tonight, what kind of stable of receivers do the Giants have right now?

How do you think the Giants match up against us?

From the way both NFC-E games went today, the Cowboy could very well lose this game...and we could wake up in the morning with this;

RedStinks
Giants
eagles
Cowboys

Oh, well...best of luck to both teams...we've seen our competition from two teams, let's see what the Cowboys and Giants have...
