not sure what is confusing about what I said...there are those who think Barber does not warrant the money he got....all I am saying is to keep in mind some of the money was probably backpay for performing beyond what he was being paid before he signed his contract.....he certainly was making less than JuJo...but Jujo was being paid more...I am not saying anyone has to agree...but by me putting it this way...is it a little more clear?

He didn't get quite that much.

Larry got a five year extension for 42.3 million that made it into a 6yr 45 million deal. (7.5 million average)

Barber got a six year extension that made his a 7 yr deal 45 million (6.43 million average)

Thats what I thought when people were all worked up over "LT MONEY, LT MONEY".

Just the going rate at this point. Coincidentally its not even close to what LT would have gotten had he been a free agent this year. I bet his contract would have doubled Barbers.
