1. The organizational culture of the Dallas Cowboys is mold. This will not be abated until JJ and SJ relinquish power.
2. Dak is a top tier QB and team leader. Anyone who wanted Dalton in there as a starter saw what that brought last night. There will be those out there that make excuses because they are blind, stupid, sectarian or just trolls.
3. Zeke is not worth the money he is earning. Yes, he runs hard and often looks good, but at what cost? Pollard also looks good. Everyone is entitled to a bad game, but a bad year, making that kind of money, which in turn prevents your team from signing other talent (i.e. in the secondary), is unacceptable.
4. Jaylon Smith is not a star. He is an average LB with limited skills. He would not be a starter on some NFL teams.
5. Our OL is in shambles, and there is no time for a rebuild. If the Cowboys expect a quick turn around, they need to look at quality vets along with young talent.
6. Related to number 5, this team is far, far away from being competitive for a championship. There are too many holes...OL and almost every position on defense.
7. Special teams is still terrible.
8. Schultz is a pretty darn good TE.
9. Pollard needs more touches.
10. Poe, Lawrence, and the aforementioned J. Smith should be sold to the highest bidder. Maybe we could get a 7th round pick from someone for all of them (sarcasm...maybe).
