So which is it?This secondary doesn't look like a 13-2 secondary to me, albeit it is.

1) The Cowboys gained 405 yards of offense despite the loss of their best receiver.
2) The Cowboys rushed for almost 150 yards and dominated TOP.
3) The Cowboys held the Panthers to 216 yards total offense.
4) The Cowboys sacked Moore 5 times.
5) Steve Smith is one of the top receivers in the league.
6) The Cowboys beat a legitimate contender just three weeks ago.
7) Most importantly, the Cowboys are 13-2.
The Cowboys absolutely dominated the Panthers tonight, and the numbers reflect it.
Actually, the head referee clarified after the replay that the receiver was taken to the ground by the defenders and was in the process of being taken to the ground BEFORE both of Smith's feet hit the ground. Therefore, since he did not get two feet on the ground before he was being taken down, he must control the ball all the way to the ground (and after he hits) whether the ball is loose or not. It was the correct call. Even Collingsworth agreed with the call after the referee clarified it. Gumball Screwball never did, but then what can you expect from him anyway.joseephuss;1852381 said:I couldn't tell from the replay whether the ball was moving before Smith hit the ground. If it were moving before he hit the ground, then yes it is an incomplete pass. Of course that was not the call on the field. They said he went to the ground on his own, which he didn't. It was all screwy. I was glad it went in Dallas' favor, but it seemed like a catch to me.
