Now, that's pretty neat to see, almost like it's trying to maintain it's 'stealth mode' in between pauses or like a pine marten Marty Stouffer would show on "wild America" back in the day

That's actually a built-in thing for most cats. It's an instinctual paralizing effect that happens when their mother carries them as kittens by grabbing them at the back of their neck.

Most people think it's just because it keeps you from getting scratched, but in most cats, they freeze up when you grab them like that.

I betcha that cat wouldn't deactivate had that clip be placed on it's tail.
