One, the movements are jerky. Two, the cat moves the paw before it looks at the person. That just doesn't happen. It's head turns and moves more like a robot or puppet than a cat's head, too. The cat's mouth looks weird. I'd say either robot, puppet, or CGI.

I was thinking stop motion photography. The guy's movements don't seem quite right either.
