The fact that you compare Lebron to Michael Jordan shows anywon who knows anything about basketball all they need to be shown about your "opinion".

Why? Jordan didn't become "Jordan" until he got some real help.

I think it's a very fair comparison as we speak. Give it some time. Look at their accomplishments and numbers at this same time in their careers.

if being a realist = being a hater....then I am a hater.

Cleveland sucks.....I dont care how many wins they get in the regular season, until they win a ring, they suck. LeChoke will continue to fail in the postseason, cause he doesn't have the stones to be a true leader of men.

Why did Jordan become so successful.........cause he was slighted in HS, he was slighted in college, and then he got injured early in the NBA...that made him angry at the world and he felt like he had something to prove....dont believe me, just listen to his HOF speech. He is still angry.

James has been coddled and handed everything since before his Prep School days. He has lived the silver platter lifestyle.....so he never learned early on how to deal with adversity. Because of this, his stones never grew enough to help him overcome those mountains that block his path.

Call me a hater all you want, but my boy Colt will win a ring for Cleveland before LeChoke does.

I agree, Cleveland does suck. Tell me one player besides LeBron or Hickson on that team that you'd trade for?

Ya I can't think of one either.

As much as I hate Gasol and Bynum they are forces and really good players. It allows Kobe to not have to be superhuman for them to win.

You get LeBron that help and it will bring multiple championships to the Cavs.

Jordan did not have bad games in the playoffs before he won a championship.

He was the only one doing anything on the team and the Pistons and Celtics were physically attacking him.

Once he got help .... it was over for the league.

Lebron has got to overcome a mental hurdle before help will be any help to him.

It's nothing like that. Miles is a one hit wonder. LeBron is a two time MVP and 6 time all star.

Jordan never had a bad playoff game? wow well that's news to me.

And this is my argument. Teams are beating up on LeBron because they have no else to to beat them. He has to play superhuman for that team to even have a chance.

Once LeBron gets help..it's over for the league.

:laugh2:

It's only annoying because we have to deal with mentally challenged, bandwagoning Laker fans constantly.

Laker fans are 10x more annoying. I can't wait till their run is over and they struggle to fill out that stadium like when they sucked 4 years ago.

Are you gonna follow him to the Knickerbockers ..... or stay a Cleveland fan?

You sound like a hater so your opinion means nothing.

Hickson,Jamison,Mo,Delonte and Eyenga will do it for Bosh and Calderon. Bosh has already commanded a sign and trade. The Raptors were etxremely high on Eyenga in the draft. They want to get rid of Calderons contract and AJ,Mo and Delonte have very few years till they expire. Not to mention Hickson and Eyenga costs next to nothing for a few more years.

The roster would be pretty depleted but you could fill that roster with D-leagers if you had LeBron and Bosh and still rattle off championships

You sound like a moron so your opinion means nothing.

Get real. Why would Toronto want to trade for that group of losers? They couldn't get it done with LeChoke on their team and Toronto would trade for them expecting them to do something with Turkoglu and Bargnani? The only player worth trading for in that group is Hickson. Jamison is still good but you don't take on the remaining $28 million he's owed unless you are a contender. As for Eyenga, he actually has to sign with the Cavs before they can trade him. Without Bosh's salary, Toronto would still be able to sign a decent free agent, which might be all they need since they're not getting any of the max contract players anyway. If the Raptors end up doing a sign and trade, they'd most likely do it for players with expiring contracts to free up future cap space -- no reason to do anything else unless you're getting quality players back.

I have no idea what message boards said in 1989(since they didn't exist) but I bet if they did they would say the same thing if Jordan ever got some legit superstar to join him.

And they would be right.

Actually there were plenty of message boards in 1989. There were already Usenet groups devoted to sports and basketball on the internet and BBS's with message boards that were connected across the world using FidoNet. In addition, there were plenty of commercial providers with message boards such as CompuServe, Prodigy, Quantum (AOL), and others. Just because YOU haven't heard of them doesn't mean they don't exist.

Bosh names 5 teams and Cleveland is nowhere to be found.

Sources: Bosh gives Raptors wish list

CHICAGO -- Chris Bosh's agent has told the Toronto Raptors that he's narrowed his list of preferred teams to five, two sources told ESPN.com's Chad Ford at the NBA draft camp.

The list of five teams -- Toronto plus the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and New York Knicks, sources said -- were given to Toronto management in case the Raptors want to construct a sign-and-trade deal (assuming he doesn't re-sign with Toronto).

Bosh would look good in purple and gold

In a recent Bill Simmons podcast according to insiders he knows they are saying Bosh for Bynum is a done deal in the off-season.

Edit-as soon as you hear it is a done deal that means nothing will happen

Hmmm interesting!

That would be rather disgusting if the lakers indeed traded for Bosh.

The Cavs have been around for 40 years. In that time, they have had 20 winning seasons, and made the playoffs 18 times. They have lost 11 times in the 1st round, 4 times in the 2nd round, 3 times in the ECF, and 1 time in the Finals (to my Spurs).

ESPN analyst Hollinger ranks them at the 19th out of the 30 franchises, as far as overall success.

Now they have had two really good runs...the first was during the Mark Price and Brad Daugherty years and now with LeChoke.

So yes, as an overall franchise they do suck.....but in the last 5 years or so, they have been a top 8 team in the NBA.

Sources: Bosh gives Raptors wish list

ESPN.com news services

CHICAGO -- Chris Bosh's agent has told the Toronto Raptors that he's narrowed his list of preferred teams to five, two sources told ESPN.com's Chad Ford at the NBA draft camp.

The list of five teams -- Toronto plus the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and New York Knicks, sources said -- was given to Toronto management in case the Raptors want to construct a sign-and-trade deal (assuming Bosh doesn't re-sign with Toronto).

Bosh likes that option, sources told Ford, because he'd get one more year on his contract and could make more money.

"It has been narrowed down to a handful of teams, including us," Raptors general manager Bryan Colangelo told the Toronto Star without providing more detail.

Sources said the Raptors prefer a sign-and-trade if Bosh is intent on leaving as well. They likely would want a big man to replace the 6-10, 230-pound Bosh in the lineup.

One source said Bosh's decision hinges on where LeBron James signs.

"If LeBron decides to go to either New York or Chicago, I think that's where you'll see Chris land," the source told Ford. "If LeBron stays in Cleveland, I think the process is more wide open."
Bosh, 26, is an unrestricted free agent. He averaged 24 points per game last season and has averaged 20.2 points per game for his career.
