Just a random thought on what I think is a possibility at the end of the season reguarding out coaches, If JG doesn't peform up to expectations and RR is offered a head coaching job somewhere else i think JJ would keep RR and let JG go account I think its easier to find an offensive coach more so than a a good defensive coach.. I think RR might be our next head coach if JG doesn't get the job done this year. Just a thought!

It's a bad thought and it's not gonna happen. JG isn't going anywhere and he shouldn't. He's done wonders with this team already....

I could see it happen. I do think though both have done wonders for this football team.. and hopefully they get to the next level!

I believe there is no good way to look at it. I think that Jason Garret needs to hire an Offensive Coordinator. He has done a great job getting the team on his side and changing how things are done in the organization. If he were to hire an OC he wouldn't be questioned about play calling when we fail the OC will take the criticism seems like a no brainer to me.

But to get back on topic I don't think Jones would even consider changing head coaches.

That is like giving your 16 year old the keys to your Ferrari.

Giving Garrett the loaded team he currently has? Yeah that's true.

Jerry: "Jason, you've had 5 games as HC with no playoff wins to show for it. I can't wait forever. I'm giving Ryan the job."

Jason: "Makes perfect sense. Thanks for giving me a shot"

Jerry: "I knew you'd understand. Oh and leave me your cell number in case Rob doesn't get this thing turned around in, oh, let's say, by halftime."

Hostile, what makes the thread stink? It was just a random thought.
It has a zero percent chance of happening.

He did wonders with what he had to work with late last season. This season his results have been incredibly underwhelming thus far. His playcalling, which improved once he was hired as a HC last year, is now worse then it ever was when he was solely the OC. His redzone playcalling is inexcusably bad right now.

i still think that JG will be a very good long-term HC in the NFL
he embodies a lot of things that successful NFL coaches have including discipline, attention to detail, smarts, and the desire to win

he just needs a real OC for 2 reasons:

1. that will allow him to devote all his attention to being the HC whicjh is a full time job
2. offensive playcalling is a "feel" thing and he does not seem to have that

I think this is a no-brainer. Chryst appears to be the perfect complement to Garrett. Dreaming about Norv Turner returning is exactly that, a dream.
